Since your problem seems to be caused by pitta and you were already noticing relief with seethophaladi churna and coconut water. This is a good sign that your body is responding very well to cooling and pitta pacifying measures

Take Seethophaladi churna 2 gm twice daily with honey to help balance pitta continue coconut water daily as it naturally cools the body and supports digestion and overall balance Drink plenty of cool, but not cold water eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Avoid spicy, oily or fried food unlimited exposure to eat. Stress can aggravate pitta so include relaxation techniques and practice, pranayama or meditation With consistent use of the cooling, food, herb and stress management noticeable improvement usually occurs within 2 to 4 weeks. Minor fluctuation may continue if triggers like stress recur. You can continue until your symptoms are fully settled and gradually re-introduce normal routine, while monitoring for any aggravation

Hello 🌿

Yes, based on what you’ve described, your symptoms do strongly indicate Pitta aggravation. The fact that Sheetopladi churna and coconut water give you significant relief is a classic sign of Pitta-shamana response. How this fits Ayurvedic understanding 1️⃣ Why this looks like Pitta Your features align well with Pitta imbalance: 🔥 Heat intolerance / garm taseer not digesting 😖 Gastric irritation, burning, sensitivity 🧠 Stress as a trigger → directly aggravates Pitta

❄️ Relief with cooling remedies (Sheetopladi, coconut water) So yes, this is Pitta prakopa, possibly with mild Vata association affecting digestion.

What you are doing RIGHT ✅ ✔️ Daily coconut water → excellent natural Pitta pacifier ✔️ Sheetopladi churna → cooling, digestive, anti-acidity ✔️ Avoiding excessive garm taseer foods → protective for Agni Continue these.

What you should ADD (gentle & safe) 🌿 Internal (cooling but digestible) Jeera–Saunf–Dhaniya water → Boil ½ tsp each in 1 liter water, sip through the day Shatavari powder → ½ tsp with room-temperature milk or water at night Amla (not raw, not excessive) → As murabba or mild powder form, 2–3 times/week

Foods that suit your digestion now 🥣 Since you don’t tolerate heat well: - Soft moong dal - Lauki, tori, pumpkin, ash gourd - Rice, oats, thin khichdi - Small amount of cow ghee (½–1 tsp only)

Avoid forcing “healthy” foods that cause discomfort —Ayurveda prioritizes digestibility over nutrition labels.

Foods & habits to AVOID 🚫 - Red chilli, excess ginger, garlic - Fried foods, bakery items - Fermented foods (idli, dosa, vinegar) - Tea/coffee on empty stomach - Late nights & emotional stress overload

Stress–Pitta link (very important) 🧘‍♀️ Since stress worsens symptoms: - 5–10 min Sheetali or Sheetkari pranayama daily - Avoid working through meals - Cool showers (not ice-cold) When to be cautious If you notice: - Burning sensation increasing - Sour belching - Mouth ulcers - Skin itching or rashes → Pitta needs active shaman (medicinal support), not just diet.

🌿 INTERNAL MEDICINES 1️⃣ Sheetopladi Churna - Dose: ½ tsp With honey or plain water - Time: Twice daily after meals Action: Pitta shaman, acidity, burning, digestion support

2️⃣ Shatavari Churna - Dose: ½ tsp with Luke warm milk Time: Night, after dinner Action: Cooling rasayana, stress-Pitta balance, gut healing

3️⃣ Avipattikar Churna Dose: ½ tsp With lukewarm water Time: Morning, empty stomach (only if acidity/burning present) Action: Excess Pitta elimination, acid control ⚠️ Skip if stools become loose

4️⃣ Guduchi (Giloy) Satva / Tablet Dose: 500 mg Time: Morning, empty stomach Action: Pitta-Rakta shaman, immunity, stress tolerance

Mam, have you read about the ailment described by me in my previous question, because one of the doctors mentioned that they cant see the previous question. If not then i am writing it here again I am 35 yrs old male and i have this issue since my childhood on and off. Alopathic doctors say that this is ibs. Whenever it happens, it happens in this way: severe pain in my abdoman 2.5 to 3 inches (my height is 175 cm just for your ref.) above naval, just in the center line and In line horizontally where the ribs end along with severe loose motions. This happens one to 2 times per month. Once started it takes 4 to 5 days in healing with moong chaval khichdi, ark badyan, coconut water etc. The pain comes in cycles generally after eating ,it stays for one to two minutes then relief for 2 minutes again start huting for approx 2 min than relief again in this process i feel need to go to washroom for the loose motions again and again, 6 to 7 times a day in severe condition 3 to 4 times normally. This thing takes 3 days approx to cure with ayurveda as I dont perfer allopathy even in severe conditions. I am quite ambitious man but not so successful so stress and food both playing the role in this.

Pls now suggest me the

Relief after that

Ok, nothing to worry , just have some patience, changing little bit treatment plan as per your problem.

✔️ No major change needed ⚠️ Avoid over-cooling 🚫 Do not use Avipattikar regularly

✔️ You are Pitta-sensitive ✔️ Cooling things help you ⚠️ BUT you also have Grahani weakness (digestive instability) 👉 So treatment must be: - - Pitta-shamana + Agni-stabilisation NOT aggressive cooling

- Diagnosis: Grahani Roga (IBS-D), Pitta dominant with Vata association - Trigger: Stress + dietary indiscretion - Nature: Recurrent, since childhood

🟢 PHASE 1: REGULAR DAYS (PREVENTION & STABILITY) Duration: 45 days

1️⃣ Kutajghan Vati - Dose: 2 tablets - Time: Twice daily after meals - Action: Grahani strengthening, diarrhea control, pain reduction

2️⃣ Sheetopladi Churna - Dose: ¼–½ tsp - Time: Twice daily after meals only With: Plain water or honey - Action: Pitta shaman, acidity & burning control

3️⃣ Guduchi (Giloy) Tablet / Satva - Dose: 500 mg Time: Morning, empty stomach - Action: Pitta–Rakta balance, stress tolerance, gut immunity

4️⃣ Jeera–Saunf–Dhaniya Water - Dose: ¼ tsp each - Method: Boil in 1 liter water Use: Sip warm through the day Action: Gentle digestion, gas & cramp reduction

5️⃣ Cow Ghee - Dose: ½ tsp daily Time: With lunch - Action: Grahani lubrication, Vata control ⚠️ Do not increase dose

🟡 OPTIONAL (ONLY IF HEAT / BURNING IS PROMINENT) 1) Shatavari Churna - Dose: ¼ tsp - Time: Night, after dinner With: Lukewarm milk or warm water - Frequency: Alternate days ⚠️ Stop if stools loosen or bloating increases

✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ 🔴 PHASE 2: DURING ACUTE ATTACK (3–5 DAYS ONLY) Diet - Moong dal + rice khichdi - Coconut water (1 glass/day) - Warm water only

Medicines 1️⃣ Kutajghan Vati Continue same dose

2️⃣ Nutmeg (Jaiphal) Dose: A pinch only Time: Night Duration: Max 2–3 days

3️⃣ Avipattikar Churna ONLY if severe acidity / sour belching present Dose: ½ tsp Time: Morning, empty stomach Duration: 3–5 days only 🚫 Stop immediately if loose motions increase 🚫 STRICTLY AVOID - Tea / coffee (especially empty stomach) - Red chilli, fried & bakery items - Fermented foods (idli, dosa, vinegar) - Late nights & eating under stress - Overuse of laxative or “cooling” medicines

🧘 STRESS MANAGEMENT (NON-NEGOTIABLE) - Sheetali / Sheetkari pranayama – 5–10 min daily - Fixed meal timings - No work during meals

(Optional if stress is high: Brahmi Vati 1 tab at night) ✅ EXPECTED OUTCOME - Reduced frequency of attacks - Less severe pain - Better digestion & confidence - Long-term stability of gut

THANK YOU FOR EXPLAINING YOUR CONDITION SO CLEARLY. THIS IS A LONG STANDING FUNCTIONAL DIGESTIVE DISORDER THAT HAS BEEN PRESENT SINCE CHILDHOOD, AND WHAT MODERN MEDICINE CALLS IBS, AYURVEDA UNDERSTANDS MORE DEEPLY AS GRAHANI WITH PITTA AND VATA INVOLVEMENT, STRONGLY INFLUENCED BY STRESS AND FOOD TIMING.

THE LOCATION OF YOUR PAIN JUST ABOVE THE NABHI IN THE MIDLINE, THE CYCLICAL CRAMPING PAIN AFTER EATING, THE URGENCY FOR LOOSE STOOLS, AND THE RELIEF AFTER PASSING STOOL ARE ALL CLASSIC SIGNS OF AGNI VAISHAMYA. YOUR DIGESTIVE FIRE IS NOT STEADY. SOMETIMES IT FLARES SHARPLY DUE TO PITTA, AND SOMETIMES IT COLLAPSES DUE TO VATA. BECAUSE OF THIS, FOOD IS NOT DIGESTED UNIFORMLY AND IT IRRITATES THE INTESTINAL LINING, CAUSING PAIN AND DIARRHEA.

YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT IN FEELING THAT PITTA IS A MAJOR FACTOR HERE. THE FACT THAT SHEETOPALADI CHURNA AND COCONUT WATER GIVE YOU SIGNIFICANT RELIEF CONFIRMS PITTA DOMINANCE. HOWEVER, IT IS IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS NOT PURE PITTA. IF IT WERE PURE PITTA, COOLING ALONE WOULD HAVE CURED YOU COMPLETELY. THE CYCLICAL PAIN, THE SPASM LIKE NATURE, THE ON AND OFF COURSE SINCE CHILDHOOD, AND THE CLEAR ROLE OF STRESS SHOW STRONG VATA ASSOCIATION.

STRESS, AMBITION, AND INTERNAL PRESSURE DIRECTLY DISTURB SAMANA AND APANA VATA. WHEN VATA IS DISTURBED, PITTA BECOMES UNCONTROLLED. THAT IS WHY ATTACKS COME ONE OR TWO TIMES A MONTH, ESPECIALLY DURING MENTAL STRAIN OR DIETARY IRREGULARITY.

NOW COMING TO THE MEDICINES YOU MENTIONED, THEY ARE ACTUALLY VERY APPROPRIATE IF USED INTELLIGENTLY AND NOT ALL AT ONCE WITHOUT CONTEXT.

AVIPATTIKAR CHURNA HALF TEASPOON BEFORE MEALS IS VERY USEFUL FOR YOU. THIS SHOULD BE TAKEN BEFORE FOOD TO PREVENT THE SUDDEN PITTA FLARE THAT HAPPENS AS SOON AS YOU EAT. IT SOOTHES THE STOMACH AND SMALL INTESTINE AND REDUCES ACIDITY, BURNING, AND POST MEAL IRRITATION. THIS IS A PREVENTIVE MEDICINE AND CAN BE CONTINUED REGULARLY FOR A FEW WEEKS, BUT SHOULD BE REVIEWED IF YOU FEEL EXCESS COLDNESS OR LOSS OF APPETITE.

KUTAJA GHAN VATI ONE TABLET TWICE DAILY SHOULD BE USED ONLY DURING LOOSE STOOLS. THIS IS NOT A DAILY MAINTENANCE MEDICINE. KUTAJA IS THE BEST HERB FOR PITTA TYPE DIARRHEA AND INTESTINAL INFLAMMATION. IT REDUCES FREQUENCY, CONTROLS SECRETION, AND HELPS HEAL THE INTESTINAL MUCOSA. ONCE STOOLS START BECOMING FORMED AND URGENCY REDUCES, THIS SHOULD BE STOPPED TO AVOID VATA AGGRAVATION.

SHANKA VATI ONE TABLET TWICE DAILY IS HELPFUL FOR THE PAIN AND SPASM .THE WAY YOUR PAIN COMES IN WAVES, STAYS FOR ONE OR TWO MINUTES, RELIEVES, AND THEN COMES BACK IS CLASSIC VATA SPASM. SHANKA VATI HELPS BREAK THIS SPASM AND REDUCE GAS AND DISTENSION. THIS SHOULD BE USED DURING ACUTE PAIN PHASES AND NOT CONTINUOUSLY FOR MONTHS.

BILVADI CHURNA ONE FOURTH TEASPOON TWICE DAILY AFTER FOOD IS A VERY GOOD SUPPORTIVE MEDICINE BILVA IS A CLASSICAL GRAHANI DRUG. TAKING IT AFTER FOOD HELPS STRENGTHEN DIGESTION AND PREVENTS POST MEAL LOOSE STOOLS AND PAIN. THIS CAN BE CONTINUED FOR A LONGER PERIOD, EVEN BETWEEN ATTACKS, AS IT IMPROVES GRAHANI FUNCTION AND REDUCES RECURRENCE.

TRIPHALA CHURNA ONE TEASPOON AT NIGHT SHOULD BE USED IF YOU HAVE CONSTIPATION OR INCOMPLETE EVACUATION BETWEEN ATTACKS. PEOPLE WITH IBS SWING BETWEEN LOOSE STOOLS AND CONSTIPATION. TRIPHALA HELPS REGULATE APANA VATA BUT SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN DAILY WITHOUT NEED

YOUR CONDITION IS NOT DANGEROUS, BUT IT IS CHRONIC AND FUNCTIONAL. IT WILL NOT RESPOND TO A SINGLE MEDICINE. IT RESPONDS BEST TO CORRECT TIMING, RIGHT COMBINATION, AND CALMING OF THE NERVOUS SYSTEM ALONG WITH DIGESTION.

YOU ARE DOING THE RIGHT THINGS DURING EPISODES BY TAKING MOONG DAL RICE KHICHDI, ARK BADYAN, AND COCONUT WATER. THAT IS WHY YOU RECOVER IN THREE TO FIVE DAYS

TO REDUCE THE FREQUENCY AND INTENSITY OF ATTACKS, REGULAR MEAL TIMING, AVOIDING SKIPPED MEALS, AVOIDI VERY SPICY, FRIED, AND FERMENTED FOODS, AND MANAGE STRESS

THIS IS A CONDITION WHERE AYURVEDA WORKS VERY WELL, BUT IT WORKS GRADUALLY AND INTELLIGENTLY. YOU SHOULD NOT FEEL DISCOURAGED OR UNSUCCESSFUL BECAUSE OF THIS CONDITION

You are absolutely right – your symptoms are classic Pitta aggravation (heat, irritation, acidity-like issues). Sitopaladi + coconut water helping confirms cooling approach is perfect.

Continue & Add – Coconut water – 200–300 ml morning Sitopaladi Churna – 3 gm + honey , 3 times daily

Add these 4 safe medicines Avipattikar Churna – 3 gm + warm water before dinner Kamadudha Ras (plain) – 250 mg morning + night with water Shatavari Kalpa – 5 gm morning + night with warm water Praval Pishti – 125 mg morning + night with water

Diet – Must Follow Give daily: moong khichdi + ghee, pomegranate, cucumber, thin buttermilk + roasted jeera Avoid completely: spicy/sour, tea/coffee after 4 PM, fried food, stress-eating

Lifestyle Sheetali/Sheetkari pranayama 10 min daily (best cooling breathing) Moonlight walk 15–20 min evening Sleep 10 PM – 6 AM strictly
