Hello. Thanks for trusting us with your kid’s health. I know it’s stressful when your child isn’t talking well and is super active. But dont worry we are here to help you out😊 YOUR CONCERN –Your 4 and half year old son: –Says words, but not full sentences –Is really hyper –Has trouble paying attention and talking In Ayurveda, it looks like: There’s a Vata-Pitta thing going on in the brain. This leads to: –Trouble with talking –Being extra restless and impulsive –Weak memory, focus, and learning It’s not damage to the brain. It’s like a mix-up in how the brain is working, and it can get better at this age. First Up: Tests to Get Done Check these things before or while you’re giving medicines: Hemoglobin Vitamin B12 Vitamin D TSH (thyroid) Low levels of these can seem like autism, ADHD, and speech problems. AYURVEDIC PLAN OF TREATMENT 1️⃣ BRAIN BOOSTER 1.Saraswatarishta Really good for: –Talking problems –Brain growing –Being hyper –Memory and learning How much: –5 ml, twice a day – Mix with the same amount of water – After eating 2️⃣ For Hyperactivity + Focus + Nerves 1 Brahmi Ghrita (Not just Brahmi – it has to be Ghrita) – ¼ teaspoon, twice daily – With warm milk – Morning and night This: –Helps with focus –Lowers hyperactivity –Helps the parts of the brain used for talking 3️⃣ For Talking and Understanding 1. Shankhpushpi Syrup – 5 ml, twice a day – After eating This helps: –Make sentences –Understand things –Stay calm 4️⃣ EXTERNAL CARE (Works Great) Brahmi Taila Head Massage Massage the head softly every night (10 minutes, wash it off in the morning) This wakes up the talking and learning parts of the brain. DIET PLAN (Very Important)No: –Junk food –Chocolate –Cold drinks –Bakery stuff –Too much milk at night ✔ Yes to: –Ghee every day –Almond paste –Banana –Rice, dal, veggies –Warm cooked food Keep Doing Therapy Speech therapy plus these medicines can help things get better 4–5 times faster. Don’t stop speech therapy. Important These medicines are safe for kids and won’t make them sleepy. Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate

Continue speech therapy. Teach him pranayam ANULOM VILOM and BHRAMARI. The more sittings he does the more he will relax. Avoid screen time. Monitor what he is watching. Avoid action genre and too fast paced cartoons. No screen time 1 hour before sleep. Better avoid screen after sunset. Indulge him in outdoor as well as indoor games. Avoid sugar, refined flour, bakery, biscuits, chocolates, packed food. Play soft music around him always. Prefer either classical music or instrumental music. Avoid RED colour around him, specially his clothes. Red makes the body hyperactive. 💊Medication💊 Syp. Suvarna yukt Sarasvatarishta 1 tsp twice a day after food. Cap. Memorine 1 cap twice a day. Open the capsule and mix the powder with half tsp lukewarm BRAMHI GHRIT. Brahmi Tailam Head massage for 20 minutes daily.

Brahmi (Bacopa monnieri): The most renowned herb for focus. It helps calm the restless mind while enhancing cognitive function. Shankhapushpi (Convolvulus pluricaulis): Excellent for reducing frustration and irritability. It helps “cool” the mental fire that leads to throwing things. Saraswatarishta: This is a traditional fermented liquid preparation often used for children with speech delays to improve clarity and concentration. External Therapies & Diet Physical touch is very grounding for a child who is “running all the time.” Shiro Abhyanga (Head Massage): A nightly 5-minute head massage with Brahmi Oil or Kshirabala Oil can help settle his nervous system before sleep. Ghee (Clarified Butter): Ayurveda considers Ghee the best vehicle for brain health.

-I understand your concern. At 4½ years, it’s important your son gets a proper evaluation first. Speech delays and hyperactivity are usually managed with therapy first—like speech therapy and behavioral support. -Treatment Plan / Medicines: 1)Brahmi Ghrita – ½ tsp orally at bedtime (improves memory, concentration) 2)Shankhapushpi Syrup – 2 ml with milk, once daily (supports intellect & calmness) 3)Ashwagandha Churna – ¼ tsp with warm milk at night (strengthens nervous system, calms hyperactivity) -Speech & Behavior Support: Continue regular speech therapy, structured daily routine, short instructions -Dietary Advice: Warm, nourishing, easily digestible food Include milk, ghee, almonds (soaked and peeled) Avoid cold, heavy, and processed foods -Lifestyle / Daily Routine: Early morning oil massage (Abhyanga) with warm sesame or coconut oil Moderate outdoor play; avoid excessive screen time Read or narrate simple stories daily Follow-up: 4 weeks or earlier if needed

✓What usually helps best Continue & intensify speech therapy = 2–3 sessions/week + daily home practice (most powerful for sentence formation) Behavioural/occupational therapy for hyperactivity = very effective at this age Routine & structure = fixed sleep (9 pm – 7 am), limited screen time (<30 min/day), lots of outdoor play, consistent meal times ✓Ayurvedic supportive options Brahmi Ghrita or Brahmi Vati (plain) = very small dose (125–250 mg/day) Shankhpushpi Syrup = 2.5–5 ml once/twice daily Mandukaparni Churna = 250–500 mg/day with honey Jatamansi (very low dose) = only if extreme hyperactivity ✓Never start on your own = dose must be calculated exactly by weight + prakriti. ✓Urgent next step Book appointment with Paediatric Ayurvedic doctor or child neurologist/developmental specialist this week. Do not buy or give any tablet/syrup without prescription = safety first at 4.5 years. Dr Gursimran Jeet Singh MD Panchakarma

1.Brahmi ghrita 1/4 tsp once daily with warm milk 2.Ashwagandha leha 1/4 tsp twice daily with warm milk after meals 3.Mandukaparni syrup 1 tsp twice daily Supportive Lifestyle & Routine - Speech therapy: Continue — Ayurveda works best as a supportive system, not a replacement. - Daily oil massage (Abhyanga): Sesame or almond oil, gentle massage before bath. Calms Vata, improves sleep. - Diet: Warm, nourishing foods — milk, ghee, rice, dal, vegetables. Avoid excess sugar, processed snacks. - Routine: Fixed sleep/wake times, calming bedtime rituals (story, lullaby, gentle oil massage). - Yoga for kids: Simple breathing (balloon breathing), playful yoga poses to calm energy. HELLO, It’s really positive that your son is already improving with speech therapy. At 4.5 years, process can still happen very beautifully- especially with the right support In Ayurveda, speech delay with hyperactivity and frustration if often linked to Vata imbalance (overactivity, restlessness, difficulty expressing ) along with mild Majja dhatu (nervous system ) weakness and sometimes low concentration. AYURVEDIC VIEW -Excess Vata->hyperactivity, restlessness, frustrating -Delayed vak visaas- speech development -low medha- cognitive focus -emotional frustration due t communication gap TREATMENT GOAL -calm the nervous system -improve speech clarity -enhance focus and memory -reduce frustration INTERNAL MEDICATIONS 1) BRAHMI SYRUP= 1/2 tsp twice daily after meals =improves speech clarity, enhances focus and memory, calms hyperactivity 2) SHANKHAPUSHPI SYRUP= 1/2 tsp twice daily after meals =improves attention span, supports cognitive development, reduces irritability 3) SARASWATARISHTA= 5ml with warm water twice daily after meals =classical medicine for delayed speech, supports language development, reduces nervous irritability 4) BRAHMI GHRITA= 1/4 tsp in warm milk in morning =enhances brain nourishment, good for speech delay 5) FOR HYPERACTIVITY -ASHWAGADHA= 1/2 tsp with warm milk at bedtime not more than 2gm =helps grounding and calming vata EXTERNAL THERAPIES 1) OIL MASSAGE= USE BALA ASHAWAGANDHA OIL -Massage for 20 min before bath =calms vata, improves sensory integration, improve focus, reduces irritability This is very important for hyperactive children 2) HEAD OIL MASSAGE-use brahmi oil 3-4 times weekly 3) NASYA= instil 1 drop of cow ghee in each nostril daily morning = improves speech and brain development DIET -warm, freshly cooked meals -ghee in meals -soaked almonds 2 daily, peeled -dates 1 daily -moong dal -khichdi -cow’s milk with pinch turmeric warm food=calmer child AVOID -excess sugar -packaged snacks -cold milkshakes -cold foods -excesss screen time during meals DAILY ROUTINE Hyperactive children need structure -fixed wake up time -fixed meal timing -early bedtime before 9 pm -outdoor play -limit screens to minimum SPEECH STIMULATING PRACTICES AT HOME -Speak slowly and clearly -Encourage repetition gently -Use picture books daily -Blow balloons/bubbles (improves oral motor control) -chanting simple mantras- om,gayatri softly Music therapy is excellent ABOUT MEDICATIONS FOR FOCUS AT 4.5 YEARS -Severe ADHD diagnosed -Significant school impairment since he is already improving in speech therapy, that is a VERY good sign. often, calming vata + brain nourishment works gradually over 3-6 months EXPECTED TIMELINE -4-6 WEEKS= reduced irritability -2-3 MONTHS= better focus -3-6 MONTHS= noticeable speech clarity improvement Consistency is key DO FOLLOW HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL THANK YOU
