Hello I understand your concern. At just 13 days after delivery, your baby’s digestion is very sensitive, and anything you take can affect the baby through breast milk. If every time you take Balant Kadha your baby develops loose motions, it clearly means it is not suiting your baby right now. So first step, stop Balant Kadha for now. Do not force it, as your baby’s comfort is more important. There is no need to take all 3 types (1, 2, 3) at this stage, especially when baby is reacting. You can restart later after 3–4 weeks in a very small dose and observe. For now, keep your diet simple, light, and nourishing. Take warm food, include ghee, jeera, ajwain in diet, which helps digestion and is safe for baby. Avoid very strong, spicy, or heavy formulations. If baby’s loose motions continue even after stopping kadha, or if there is dehydration, then consult a pediatrician once. Your body will recover well even with simple diet and rest, no need to depend on strong kadha immediately. Warm Regards Dr Raghuveer SN
Seems like some herbs in the balantkadha are passing through the breast milk to the baby causing loose motions. You can go for dosage of 2 tsp of the kadha twice a day after a heavy meal and try to avoid feeding the baby after 2 hours of consumtion of the kadha i.e if you take the kadha at 1 pm donot feed the baby between 2.30 - 3.30 pm. Feed the baby before 2.30 or after 3.30. Even if the baby continuous to have loosemotions after this time management it is advisable to discontinue the kadha. Balant kadha 1,2,3 should be consumend within 60 days of delivery for best results.
