Namaste, Chia seeds with lemon water are generally safe and mild in nature, but their effect can vary based on your body type. Simple understanding: Chia seeds are usually considered cooling and soothing, especially when soaked. Lemon has a slightly heating (pitta increasing) effect, but in diluted form it is usually well tolerated. So overall, this combination is balanced, not strongly heat-producing. Simple guidance: If your body tends to feel heat or acidity, take it in moderate quantity. Always use well-soaked chia seeds, not dry. Avoid taking it empty stomach in excess, as lemon may cause mild irritation in sensitive people. Best time is morning or mid-day, not late night. Since your digestion is normal, you can continue in small amounts and observe how your body responds. Ayurvedic medicines are not required for this. Consult me for more advice and suggestions on the above medicines.

- Since you sometimes feel hot and sometimes cold, chia with lemon water is generally safe and won’t aggravate body heat. - It can help maintain hydration, soothe digestion, and balance mild Pitta aggravation. - If you feel too much heat after taking it, you can reduce lemon or replace it with a cooling option like rose water or mint. Practical Tips— - Take chia seeds soaked overnight (1–2 tsp) in room‑temperature water. - Add a few drops of lemon juice, not too much. - Best consumed in the morning or midday, avoid late evening if digestion feels sluggish. - If you feel cold or weak digestion, add a pinch of dry ginger instead of lemon.

This drink is safe and actually helpful for you. It will not increase body heat, in fact, it tends to reduce internal heat, calm acidity and support hydration without aggravating your discomfort with heating foods. ✓Best way to take it Soak 1–1½ tbsp chia seeds in 1–1½ glass water overnight Morning: stir + squeeze ½ lemon (or less if sensitive) Drink on empty stomach or mid-morning Start with smaller quantity (1 tbsp seeds) for 3–4 days to confirm comfort Regards Dr Gursimran Jeet Singh MD Panchakarma

It’s in fact cooling in nature and can use daily

Chia seeds are cooling but lemon can increase pitta in the body and may be that is the cause of increased heat in the body. You can simple use plain water, coconut water, kokum sharbat, milk to soak your chia seeds which will help reduce increased pitta in your body.

Chia seeds are generally cooling in nature when socked they form hydrating and soothing to digestive tract while lemon juice is acidic it often has an alkalizing and refreshing effect on the body the both combination does not increase body heat but often recommended for its hydrating properties Since you said that avoiding spicy heating food due to discount but you notice normal digestion with Chia seeds it shows that your system is tolerating this combination well Chia seeds are high fibre content so it requires adequate water intake

Chia seeds soaked overnight ,and taken about 2tsp is good as it cools the system, but if you are having cold, cough, it should be avoided as it can aggravate cold. Lemon juice is good in both reducing pitta, also if cold will help improve immunity.
