1. Herbs: Ashwagandha, Shatavari, Brahmi, Amalaki, and Ginseng: These herbs support energy, reduce stress, and enhance vitality. 2. Diet: Eat nourishing whole foods (fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, healthy fats). Use spices like ginger, cinnamon, and black pepper to aid digestion. Avoid processed or heavy foods that deplete energy. 3. Lifestyle: Prioritize sleep (7-8 hours), practice self-massage (Abhyanga), and do gentle exercise like yoga or walking. Practice Pranayama (Bhastrika, Kapalabhati) to energize. 4. Routine: Follow a consistent daily routine, wake early, and eat at regular times to maintain energy. 5. Hydration: Drink warm water or herbal teas throughout the day. These steps can help improve energy and vitality.

Establishing a consistent daily routine, including early wake-up times, regular physical activity (like yoga or walking), and adequate sleep, is essential for maintaining high energy. Managing stress through meditation or pranayama (breathing exercises) also helps to restore vitality and prevent energy depletion.

Feeling low on energy is pretty common, and Ayurveda can definitely lend a hand in boosting vitality. Let’s start by looking into potential imbalances in your doshas. Fatigue often links to an imbalance in the Vata dosha, sometimes Kapha too, leading to sluggishness and low motivation. Strengthening your Agni (digestive fire), balancing these doshas, and building Ojas (vital essence) are key.

First off, lets talk about diet. Go for warm, nourishing foods; think homemade soups with spices like cumin, ginger, and turmeric. Avoid raw and cold foods as they might aggravate Vata dosha. Regular meals without skipping them helps maintain regular energy levels. Foods rich in good fats like ghee and nuts can be made part of your daily meals, as these enhance Ojas.

Now, for lifestyle changes, setting a routine is golden. Ayurveda loves routine! Sleeping and waking up at the same time everyday can regulate your body and mind. Try to get to bed by 10pm, as it’s the ideal kapha time, good for restful sleep. Make sure to take short breaks during your day if you’re feeling drained.

Exercise is another pillar, gentle yoga or walking keeps the body active without overdoing it. Just make sure to listen to your body and avoid pushing too hard.

As for herbal supplements, Ashwagandha is a revered adaptogen in Ayurveda. It’s known to help balance Vata and increase energy levels. You might consider taking it in powder form with warm milk before bedtime, but start slow, see how your body responds. Triphala is another option to help improve digestion, taken at night.

Lastly, daily self-massage with warm sesame oil can really soothe Vata, grounding your senses and supporting energy flow. Takes just a few minutes before showering.
