Breast cysts are fluid-filled sacs that often fluctuate with hormonal changes, especially estrogen levels. Since you’re in perimenopause, your estrogen levels are shifting, which may still contribute to cyst formation. Many doctors suggest that cysts shrink or disappear after menopause when estrogen levels drop, but this isn’t always the case for everyone. adv. 1.kanchnaar guggulu 1 tab bd 2.trifla powder 1/2tsf with leukworm water 3.erand tail(castor oil) abhyang(gentle massage on affected area)

Since your cyst is painful at times, using castor oil packs regularly and reducing estrogen dominance can help. If it persists or changes in nature, it’s always good to monitor it with regular checkups. you can follow the steps of SBE(self breast examination) Avoid estrogen-rich foods (soya, processed, dairy and overfried food) in your diet.

When dealing with recurring breast cysts, especially at the premenopausal stage, it is essential to understand it through the lens of Ayurveda. Cysts are often linked to an imbalance of the three doshas, primarily Kapha and Vata. Kapha’s heavy and fluid qualities can accumulate, causing cysts, while Vata can lead to irregularity and fluctuating symptoms, like pain.

First, it’s good to begin by addressing diet. Focus on incorporating more warming, light, and dry foods to balance Kapha. Include spices like ginger, turmeric, and black pepper in your meals, as they help enhance agni, or digestives fire, and reduce Kapha. Avoid excessively oily, cold, and heavy foods, which can create more stagnation.

Daily routine plays a big role too. Begin your day with warm water with a dash of lemon and honey to stimulate digestion and cleanse the system. Regular physical activity can keep the doshas in balance, so aim for exercises that are not too strenuous, say a brisk walk for 30 mins daily.

Herbal support can also smooth out the hormonal transitions. Shatavari is a renowned herb known to support female hormonal health, and it can be included in your routine. Just ensure you consult with a healthcare provider familiar with your medical history before use.

As the cyst can be painful at times, apply warm compresses to the area for relief. Ashwagandha may be beneficial due to its stress reducing properties, which help manage Vata. Stress often exacerbates such conditions.

Although Ayurveda can support your body, continue with regular medical check-ups to monitor changes. If ever the pain significantly escalates or you notice new symptoms, don’t delay in currently medical attention.

Finally, as you’re nearing menopause, stay attentive to your body’s signals. Menopause could potentially resolve or at least reduce the prevalence of these cysts, but a mindful routine now can ensure smoother transitions and overall balance in your body moving forward.
