I am trying to understand more about red sandalwood, because I've heard a lot about it recently. I was at this wellness retreat, and they had a whole section on it, saying it’s amazing for skin care and health, but I kept thinking about where it comes from. Now, is red sandalwood only found in India? I mean, I always thought it was just an Indian thing, right? But then someone dropped a comment about how they saw it in some other countries too, and now I'm confused. I really want to know if it's strictly Indian or if it grows elsewhere. Also, does that affect its medicinal properties? I read somewhere that pure red sandalwood is super valuable, so if it's sourced from other places, would it still have the same benefits? Like, back home I dabble with herbal medicine and really connecting with natural stuff, but this whole thing got me wondering if I should stick with Indian red sandalwood.
