How to cure uterine fibroid without surgery - #26013

Size 12cm asymptomatic fibroid on the posteriorwall of my uterus. No symptoms, regularperiods tillApril2025, but in may missed periods and eventually diagnosed with this fibroid. Got my periods on 12 june with homeopathic medicine but the flow was scant. Now this month on 7 july got my periods without medicine but still the flow is scanty. Please help.

However, scanty periods and delayed cycles indicate hormonal imbalance or uterine lining changes caused by the fibroid’s pressure. Since this began only recently, early intervention can help you avoid surgery and manage it naturally.

Basic Investigations to be done:

1. Pelvic Ultrasound (TVS preferred) – to monitor fibroid size, location, and endometrial thickness. 2. CBC – to check for anemia. 3. Thyroid Profile (TSH, T3, T4) – thyroid issues can affect periods. 4. Serum FSH, LH, Estradiol, Progesterone – for hormonal status. 5. Serum Vitamin D & B12 – to rule out other deficiencies. 6. CA-125 (if family history of reproductive cancers) – only as precaution.

A 12 cm fibroid does require careful attention, even if it’s asymptomatic for the most part. The scanty menstrual flow and irregular periods could be a sign of the fibroid affecting your menstrual cycle. In Ayurveda, fibroids are often linked with an imbalance in the Kapha dosha and possibly an aggravated Rakta (blood) and Meda (fat) dhatus. Working on balancing these could he helpful.

First, aim to consume a Kapha-pacifying diet. This means incorporating warm, light, and easily digestible foods. Reduce intake of dairy, sugar, fried, and oily foods that can aggravate Kapha. Spices like turmeric, ginger, and cinnamon may help balance your dosha. Include warm, cooked vegetables and legumes in your meals. Try drinking warm water throughout the day; it aids digestion and helps reduce Kapha accumulation.

For lifestyle, regular physical activity is essential. Engage in moderate exercise for about 30 minutes daily, such as walking, yoga, or swimming. Avoid sedentary lifestyle and stay active as much as possible.

Fibroid is a noncancerous growth in or around uterus. It’s made of muscle and fibrous tissue. Your fibroid is located on the posterior wall of your uterus and is 12 cm, which Is large

YOUR CURRENT SYMPTOMS -asymptomatic= no pain, no pressure, no bleeding but you’ve noticed -missed period(may) -scanty flow(June and July)

This means the fibroid might be interfering with your hormonal balance or uterine lining, even if you dont feel pain or pressure

TREATMENT GOALS -shrink the fibroid naturally -regulate menstruation - balances hormones especially estrogen - prevent further growth or complications -avoid surgery, if safely possible

Uterine fibroids also called leiomyomas, are benign tutors that can vary in size and symptoms . While surgery is often recommended for large or symptomatic fibroids, non surgical options including Ayurveda treatment may help manage fibroids, especially if they’re asymptomatic, as in your case

CASE SUMMERY

FIBROID SIZE= 12 cm, on posterior uterine wall SYMPTOMS= none initially , but now scanty periods and missed periods in May CURRENT TREATMENT= homeopathy-helped initiate period in June JULY= period came without medicine , but scanty flow

CLINICAL PERSPECTIVE A 12 cm fibroid is considered large. Even if asymptomatic now, large fibroids can potentially cause -compression on nearby organs-bladder, rectum - fertility issues -heavy bleeding or scanty/irregular cycles - pain or bloating

It’s a really specific branch of Ayurveda, and I’ve kind of grown to appreciate how much it covers. I deal with all kinds of conditions like Netra Abhishyanda (kinda like conjunctivitis), Timira and Kacha (early or full-on cataract), Adhimantha (glaucoma stuff), Karna Srava (ear discharge), Pratishyaya (chronic colds n sinus), Mukhapaka (mouth ulcers), and even dental stuff like Dantaharsha (teeth sensitivity) or Shirashool (headaches & migraines).
