Lifestyle adjustments matter too. Regular exercise is non-negotiable here – it helps to regulate insulin levels and improve metabolism affecting the symptoms. Find something you enjoy, be it walking, yoga, or dancing. Aim for at least 30 mins a day.
Another important piece is stress management. Stress can elevate cortisol levels, disrupting hormonal balance. Try daily practices like meditation or deep-breathing exercises. Even a few minutes a day can make a difference.
You might consider herbal support too. Ashwagandha is known for reducing cortisol levels, while Shatavari can support reproductive health. But don’t just dive in without consulting an expert – herbs are potent.
It’s a journey of bringing your body back into harmony. You’ll want to give it time, consistency is key. And always stay in tune with how your body responds. If any of these changes feel off, it’s okay to adjust or reconsult. Remember, Ayurveda is personalized, so what works for one may not be a fit for another.
