Your symptoms of tingling, numbness in the hands, feet, and tongue, along with abdominal burning and bloating, suggest an imbalance in Vata and Pitta doshas. In Ayurveda, these sensations can often be traced to poor circulation, nerve weakness, and digestive issues. For relief, I recommend focusing on calming Vata and Pitta to soothe the nervous system and improve digestion. Ashwagandha and Bala are beneficial for strengthening nerves and reducing tingling, as they nourish the body and stabilize Vata. For burning and bloating, Avipattikar Churna before meals can help neutralize excess Pitta, reducing acidity and discomfort in the abdomen. Triphala at night is also useful for promoting regular bowel movements, reducing bloating, and gently detoxifying the digestive tract. Sipping on warm water with fennel and cumin seeds throughout the day can aid digestion, reducing bloating and cooling the internal heat. Avoid spicy, sour, and fried foods as these can aggravate Pitta, and focus on warm, easily digestible meals. A warm oil massage (Abhyanga) with sesame or Mahanarayan oil can improve circulation and reduce numbness. Consulting with an Ayurvedic practitioner can provide further guidance on personalized dosages and treatment.

It sounds like you’ve been dealing with quite a handful, sorry to hear that. The tingling and numbness in hands, feet, and tongue alongside burning sensation and bloating in the abdomen could be pointing toward some imbalances or even some nutritional deficiencies.

In Ayurveda, such sensations often relate to Vata dosha imbalances. Vata governs movement and is seated in the nervous system, which may explain the tingling and numbness. When aggravated, it can lead to dryness and circulation issues. Let’s talk about some steps you can take.

First, let’s consider your diet. Include warm, home-cooked meals, sticking with easy-to-digest foods like kanji or rice gruels. Avoid anything that’s too cold or raw, this may disrupt your digestive fire (agni). Regular meals are like clockwork; they’ll help maintain digestion without overtaxing.

Also, incorporate ghee, which is soothing and nurturing. It helps anchor Vata and also aids in lubrication—important for nerves and circulation. Try having a teaspoon of ghee in warm water in morning.

For your abdominal burning and bloating, a teaspoon of ajwain seeds with some warm water could really help ease things up. Ajwain’s heat can counteract the gaseous buildup and even soothe the digestive track.

Daily self-massage with warm sesame oil can be beneficial, as it’s grounding for Vata. Focus on your extremities and abdomen. It stimulates circulation, warming up the body gently. Don’t be afraid to add a few drops of calming essential oils like lavender to the mix too.

Make sure you stay hydrated with room-temperature water, and try ginger tea if you can handle a bit of heat. Stay away from caffeinated drinks because they might mess with the nervous system more.

However, given that your symptoms involve several organ systems, it might be worth swinging by a healthcare professional, just to rule out anything more pressing. Til then, take it easy. Try to steer clear from excessive stress, put aside time for rest and don’t skimp on sleep.
