lacto calamine uses - #17371
For years now, I’ve been using Lacto Calamine lotion to help with my oily skin, but recently, I’ve been wondering if I could be using it wrong or if there are more benefits I’m missing. From what I understand, Lacto Calamine is often used to treat oily skin, acne, and even sunburns because it’s said to balance the skin and reduce oiliness. However, I’m unsure if it can be used for more than just these skin conditions. I’ve noticed that when I use Lacto Calamine regularly, my skin feels a lot smoother, and it reduces the shine from my face, but I’ve also heard that it can help soothe irritation caused by insect bites or rashes. Can I use it for that, too? I’ve also been reading that Lacto Calamine has zinc oxide and calcium carbonate in it, which are known to help reduce inflammation. Is that why it’s so effective for acne-prone skin? I’ve been applying it after cleansing my face every morning and night, but I wonder if I’m overusing it. Can Lacto Calamine be used too often, or is it safe to apply multiple times a day if my skin gets really oily or irritated? Should I also use a moisturizer after applying it, or is it enough on its own to keep the skin hydrated and balanced? I’ve also heard some people use Lacto Calamine as a soothing agent for sunburns. Since summer is approaching, I’m thinking of using it as a remedy for any sun damage. Does it actually work well for sunburns, or should I look into other alternatives, like aloe vera gel, to get better results? Has anyone had experience with Lacto Calamine for different uses, like for acne or sunburns? How effective was it, and what’s your skincare routine like when using it?
