Experiencing Mood Swings and Anxiety with Purodil Tablets: Should I Continue? - #22765

Levi

I am really confused about this purodil tablet I’ve been taking. So, a few months ago, I started feeling drained and dealing with some digestion issues. My friend suggested these purodil tablets saying they helped him a lot, so I gave them a shot. At first, it seemed like my bloating got a bit better, but now I’m not so sure. I feel like I’m having mood swings too, and I’ve read some conflicting stuff about the purodil tablet online. Is it normal to feel more anxious while taking them? Should I stick with it longer or try something different? Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience. Thanks!

It's not uncommon for herbal supplements like Purodil to affect different individuals in various ways. Based on what you've described—mood swings and anxiety—it's vital to consider a few aspects before deciding if you should continue using them. Firstly, Purodil typically contains ingredients aiming to improve digestive health and detoxification. It's possible that taking them altered your digestive agni or brought about changes impacting your mental state, possibly due to vata or pitta aggravation. Mood swings and anxiety can sometimes be a sign of these imbalances. Moreover, herbal tablets can have interactions or side effects that may not always be overtly described. If these symptoms began or worsened after starting Purodil, it may not be the ideal fit for your constitution or current dosha state. You might want to reflect on your current lifestyle, diet, and routine activities that might contribute to these feelings. Subtle shifts in diet can sometimes have significant impacts. Consider a nourishing diet that pacifies the aggravated dosha—focus on including grounding, warm, and calming foods to stabilize emotions. For instance, if vata is aggravated, consuming warm, cooked meals with healthy fats might help. If you're keen on continuing with the herbal approach and still addressing your symptoms, you could try consulting with an ayurvedic physician to rethink your regimen. They may recommend an alternative or complementary treatments, such as ashwagandha for its calming effects, or other personalized therapies balancing your unique prakriti and dosha imbalance. However, if these symptoms persist or bring significant distress, it’s crucial to consult with a healthcare provider to rule out underlying conditions. Immediate professional guidance is paramount if these emotional changes are significant and affecting your daily life.
