Hello, Please share the level of ESR and also IgE levels. There are 2 ways of approach when you have dust and food allergies. Firs is avoiding the cause(identify the food which is causing allergy and completely avoid them+ protect yourself from dust); second is strengthen your immunity against the allergens. The medicines below are to achieve the second one. 1. Brihat haridra khandam 1 tsp as first food in the morning with a cup of warm milk/warm water in the empty stomach. 2. Nasoallerin Capsules 1----1----1 after each meal with a cup of warm water. 3. Dasamoolakatutrayam kashayam 10ml+ indukantha kashayam 10ml by adding 80 ml boiled and then cooled water one hour before breakfast and one hour before dinner. 4. Anu thailam 2 drops to each nostril in the morning and in the evening All for 90 days. After 90 days: 5. Chyavanaprasham(vaidyaratnam pharmacy) 1 tsp in the evening before going to bed with warm water/warm milk for 120 days.

diet and lifestyle while consuming ayurveda medicines: 1.As mentioned earlier identify and completely avoid allergens. 2.Avoid all processed-outside-refrigerated-raw-cold food items 3.Keep yourself warm. 4. Eat at regular times, freshly cooked warm food. 5. Drink 2 liters of boiled warm water a day. 6. Learn and start practicing pranayama everyday for minutes without fail. Take care. Kind regards.

I am a fresher doctor stepping into practice with lot of curiosity and some nervousness too if i’m honest. My training gave me a foundation in Ayurveda principles, where health is not just the absence of illness but a balance between doshas, agni, dhatu & mind. I might not carry decades of expereince yet, but I hold patience and dedication which sometimes matter more than numbers. During study years I worked through cases of common disorders, watching how small changes in ahara-vihara and simple herbal formulations could transform patient comfort. It showed me that ayurveda is not about complicate plans but about restoring rhythm of body. I keep strong interest in musculoskeletal disorders like joint pain, stiffness, backache, where lifestyle corrections plus treatments like abhyanga, swedana and panchakarma therapies show amazing recovery. Also conditions of women health—PCOD, infertility, menstrual irregularities—are areas I want to focus deeply, as these affect daily living so much yet often stay under-discussed. I also learned about auto-immune conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, aamavata, psoriatic arthritis, how tricky they are, and I feel motivated to study and treat them further with careful, step by step methods. As a fresher, I know my journey just starting. I am still shaping my skills, still questioning which approach work best, sometimes even re-checking basic things twice. But I believe this stage is also strength, because I come with open mind, no rigid habits, and eagerness to listen. I do not rush into decisions, rather I take time to observe each case, to connect symptoms with underlying dosha imbalance. I feel each patient teach something new and every treatment outcome is like a page added in my learning.

HELLO RAJNI ,

You have been struggling with allergy-related issues for the past four years, mainly triggered by food, dust, and dust mites. These allergens have caused repeated sneezing, coughing, and, over the last two years, breathing difficulties. Your ESR (Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate) is elevated, indicating ongoing inflammation in your body. Chronic allergies not only affect your nose and lungs but can also impact your overall immunity and energy levels. Repeated allergen exposure can lead to congestion, airway inflammation, and long-term sensitivity.

Allopathic and homeopathic medicines have not provided lasting relief, which shows your body needs a foundational approach that balances digestion (Agni), clears accumulated toxins (Ama), and strengthens respiratory and immune health. In Ayurveda, allergies are seen as a combination of impaired digestion leading to Ama (toxins), aggravated Kapha (causing congestion), and Vata imbalance (creating dryness, irritation, and hypersensitivity).

The treatment plan focuses first on Ama Pachana to help your body digest and absorb medicines effectively. Internal medicines like Sitopaladi and Talisadi help reduce mucus, inflammation, and respiratory irritation. Nasya therapy and steam inhalation open nasal passages, reduce congestion, and calm overactive airway responses. Diet also plays a critical role: heavy, cold, oily, or processed foods can worsen Kapha and Ama, aggravating allergy symptoms. Warm, cooked meals with ghee, turmeric, and mild spices support digestion, reduce toxins, and calm respiratory inflammation. Seasonal fruits with natural antioxidants help boost immunity.

Consistency is essential. Even if symptoms improve initially, continuing the medicines, therapies, and dietary guidance ensures lasting results. Long-standing allergies take time to settle, but with adherence, you can notice improvement in breathing, sneezing frequency, and overall energy within a few weeks, with more sustained relief over months.

Following the treatment as advised will give you the best chance of overcoming these chronic allergy issues.

Prescription, start with amapachana for 3 DAYS,

Ama Pachana: Hingwashtak Churna 1 tsp with warm water before meals for 3 days

Sitopaladi Churna ½–1 tsp twice daily with honey or warm water Talisadi Churna ½–1 tsp twice daily with warm water

Nasya: Anu Tailam 2–3 drops in each nostril daily

Steam inhalation with turmeric or herbal decoction once daily

Dietary guidance: Warm, cooked meals, avoid cold, oily, and processed foods, include seasonal fruits, turmeric, and mild spices

Investigations: ESR (already elevated), CBC, IgE if needed, and routine respiratory check-up.

Follow-up and concern: Monitor breathing, sneezing, and energy levels weekly. Adherence is key if you follow the treatment consistently, improvement is expected within a few weeks, and sustained relief over months. Avoid allergens as much as possible.

Warm regards, Dr. Karthika

Dr. Aditi Vora
I am Vd. Aditi Vora, an Ayurvedic practitioner who honestly believe in looking at health as more than just symptoms or single problems. Over the years I worked with patients dealing with chronic skin disease, digestive troubles, stress, hormonal imbalance and lifestyle issues that doesn’t always get solved by quick fixes. Ayurveda taught me that every patient is a complete world in themselves – body, mind, routine, even emotions – and unless I understand all of that together, I cannot give the right care. My main focus has always been to create treatments that actually fit into a person’s life. Some people come to me after trying many things, tired and frustrated, and I spend time to listen, sometimes a lot of time actually, because healing need patience. I use Panchakarma therapies, herbal medicines, dietary planning, daily routine correction – sometimes just small change in habits can shift health in a big way. I don’t look at Ayurveda as old theory, but as a living science that makes sense today when lifestyle disorders are everywhere. Skin disorders like psoriasis, eczema, acne or vitiligo, I treated many such cases with steady results, though honestly it require consistency and discipline from both doctor and patient. Lifestyle disorders like diabetes, obesity, hypertension – I manage these with personalised plans that combine detox, herbs and diet that suits the person’s prakruti not just general charts. Many patients felt long term relief, not just temporary cover-up. I also belive mental and emotional health are tightly linked with physical healing. Stress management is part of almost every treatment I design, through meditation, yoga, breathing and Ayurvedic therapies that calm the nervous system. My approach is simple: see the whole picture, find the root, treat gently but firmly. Ayurveda is not about instant relief but about restoring balance, and when balance is restored, relief always follow.

Namaste Rajni,

I Hope this Help you

Allergic rhinitis and food allergies are often the result of Vata–Kapha imbalance along with low immunity and long-standing gut issues like constipation.

🔹 Kapha aggravation leads to excessive mucus formation, nasal congestion, heaviness, and hypersensitivity. 🔹 Vata aggravation disturbs the gut, weakens immunity, and increases reactivity to allergens.

For long-term management, I recommend a personal consultation with an Ayurvedic physician, since treatment should be customized according to your prakriti (constitution) and vikriti (imbalance).

Meanwhile, some supportive measures you can adopt are:

1️⃣ Regular Intake of Lukewarm Water

Helps digest ama (toxins)

Balances Vata and Kapha by improving agni (digestive fire).

2️⃣ Diet & Lifestyle Regulations

Avoid: curd, achar (pickles), stale/fermented foods, and cold items.

Restrict: late-night sleeping and day-sleep, as they aggravate Kapha and weaken immunity.

3️⃣ Anu Taila Nasya (Nasal Drops)

2 drops in each nostril daily, preferably in the morning.

It strengthens the upper respiratory tract, lubricates nasal passages, prevents allergen entry, and pacifies aggravated Vata and Kapha in the head region.

By addressing both gut health and respiratory strength, you will notice gradual improvement, but for sustained relief, personalized Ayurvedic treatment is necessary.

Dr. Chaitrali Rajendra Tambe
I am someone who really believes that Ayurveda isn’t just about giving herbs and oils—it's more like a whole way of looking at the body, the habits, the food, and how everything connects together. I got solid training in Ayurvedic clinical practice and feel most confident when I'm using therapies like Panchakarma or planning proper Shodhana for someone who's stuck in a cycle of chronic illness or stress-related issues. There’s just something powerful about seeing how classical cleansing can bring that shift in energy and clarity for ppl who've tried everything else. I work a lot on dosha assessment—sometimes it takes a bit of digging cause symptoms don’t always line up in a textbook way. But once I figure out what’s really going off-balance, I try to make treatment super personalized. It’s not just about giving a kashayam or lepa... I spend time explaining diet changes, routines, sleep timing, and even emotional triggers when needed. Many people don’t realise how big a role lifestyle play in their conditions. Right now, I’m mostly focused on lifestyle disorders and detox-based therapies. Things like PCOS, fatty liver, skin allergies, joint stiffness, IBS, anxiety-linked issues… those come up a lot. I try not to rush. I’d rather go slow n consistent, combining classical concepts with modern diagnostics if needed. Blood tests, reports, scans—they help me track things while still keeping the treatment Ayurvedic in core. I’m also pretty organized about documenting my cases—not just for reference but to understand patterns better. I guess every case teaches you something new, even after hundreds of patients. And I do keep learning, whether it’s updating protocols or trying to refine a virechana schedule that didn’t go as planned. In the end, for me it’s really about finding that balance for each person... not just patching the symptom. I think that’s where Ayurveda really shines.

Long-standing sneezing, cough, breathlessness with allergies is usually considered under Pratishyaya (Allergic Rhinitis)

You can start with following remedies:-

1. Nidana Parivarjan (Avoidance of triggers)- • Avoid dust, smoke, cold foods, fermented/junk foods, curd at night, and direct exposure to AC/fan air. • Maintain warm, easily digestible, freshly cooked food. 2. Internal Medicines • Sitopaladi Churna – 1–2 g with honey, twice daily. • Haridra Khanda – 1 tsp with warm milk, twice daily • Chyawanprash – 1 tsp daily in the morning with warm milk • Trikatu Churna (Pippali, Maricha, Shunthi) – 1 g with honey, once daily

Daily morning Anu Taila or Shadbindu Taila, 2 drops in each nostril.

Warm water gargles with turmeric + salt at night.

Steam inhalation with tulsi / ajwain seeds if blocked nose.

I am Dr Anurag Sharma, done with BAMS and also PGDHCM from IMS BHU, which honestly shaped a lot of how I approach things now in clinic. Working as a physician and also as an anorectal surgeon, I’ve got around 2 to 3 years of solid experience—tho like, every day still teaches me something new. I mainly focus on anorectal care (like piles, fissure, fistula stuff), plus I work with chronic pain cases too. Pain management is something I feel really invested in—seeing someone walk in barely managing and then leave with actual relief, that hits different. I’m not really the fancy talk type, but I try to keep my patients super informed, not just hand out meds n move on. Each case needs a bit of thinking—some need Ksharasutra or minor para surgical stuff, while others are just lifestyle tweaks and herbal meds. I like mixing the Ayurved principles with modern insights when I can, coz both sides got value really. It’s like—knowing when to go gentle and when to be precise. Right now I’m working hard on getting even better with surgical skills, but also want to help people get to me before surgery's the only option. Had few complicated cases where patience n consistency paid off—no shortcuts but yeah, worth it. The whole point for me is to actually listen first, like proper listen. People talk about symptoms but also say what they feel—and that helps in understanding more than any lab report sometimes. I just want to stay grounded in my work, and keep growing while doing what I can to make someone's pain bit less every day.

Dr. Maitri Bhavesh Kumar Acharya
ChatGPT said: I am Dr. Maitri, currently in my 2nd year of MD in Dravyaguna, and yeah, I run my own Ayurvedic clinic in Ranoli where I’ve been seeing patients for 2 years now. Honestly, what pulled me into this path deeper is how powerful herbs really are—when used right. Not just randomly mixing churnas but actually understanding their rasa, virya, vipaka etc. That’s kinda my zone, where textbook knowledge meets day-to-day case handling. My practice revolves around helping people with PCOD, acne, dandruff, back pain, stiffness in knees or joints that never seem to go away. And I don’t jump to giving a long list of medicines straight away—first I spend time figuring out their prakriti, their habits, food cycle, what triggers what… basically all the small stuff that gets missed. Then comes the plan—herbs (single or compound), some diet reshuffling, and always some lifestyle nudges. Sometimes they’re tiny, like sleep timing. Sometimes big like proper seasonal detox. Being into Dravyaguna helps me get into the depth of herbs more confidently. I don’t just look at the symptom—I think okay what guna will counter this? Should the drug be snigdha, ushna, tikta? Is there a reverse vipaka that’ll hurt the agni? I ask these questions before writing any combo. That’s made a huge diff in outcomes. Like I had this case of chronic urticaria that would flare up every week, and just tweaking the herbs based on sheetala vs ushna nature... helped calm the system in 3 weeks flat. Not magic, just logic. I also work with women who are struggling with hormonal swings, mood, delayed periods or even unexplained breakouts. When hormones go haywire, the skin shows, digestion slows, and mind gets foggy too. I keep my approach full-circle—cleansing, balancing, rejuvenating. No quick fixes, I tell them early on. What I’m hoping to do more of now is make Ayurveda feel practical. Not overwhelming. Just simple tools—ahara, vihara, aushadha—used consistently, with some trust in the body’s own healing. I’m still learning, still refining, but honestly, seeing people feel in control of their health again—that’s what keeps me rooted to this.

I am working in Ayurveda field from some time now, started out as a general physician at Chauhan Ayurveda Hospital in Noida. That place taught me a lot—how to handle different types of patients in OPD, those daily cases like fever, digestion issues, body pain... but also chronic stuff which keeps coming back. After that I moved to Instant Aushadhalya—an online Ayurveda hospital setup. Whole different space. Consultations online ain’t easy at first—no pulse reading, no direct Nadi check—but you learn to ask the right things, look at patient’s tone, habit patterns, timing of symptoms... and yeah it actually works, sometimes even better than in person. Right now I’m working as an Ayurveda consultant at Digvijayam Clinic where I’m focusing more on individualised care. Most ppl come here with stress-related problems, digestion issues, joint pain, that kind of mix. I go by classic diagnosis principles like prakriti analysis, dosha imbalance and all, but also mix in what I learned from modern side—like understanding their lifestyle triggers, screen time, sleep cycles, food gaps n stress patterns. I don’t rush into panchakarma or heavy medicines unless it’s needed... prefer starting with simple herbs, diet change, basic daily routine correction. If things demand, then I go stepwise into Shodhan therapies. My goal is to not just “treat” but to help ppl know what’s happening in their body and why its reacting like that. That awareness kinda becomes half the cure already. Not everything is perfect. Sometimes ppl don’t follow what you say, sometimes results are slow, and yeah that gets to you. But this path feels honest. It’s slow, grounded, and meaningful.

Throughout my journey, I have had the privilege of treating more than 100,000 patients through both in-person consultations and online platforms. My approach is deeply rooted in classical Ayurvedic diagnostics—such as Nadi Pariksha (pulse examination), Roga-Rogi Pariksha (patient and disease evaluation), and a personalized assessment of prakriti (body constitution). Dr. Pavankumar Jagdishbhai Khuha
I am Dr. Pavan Khuha and yeah—Ayurveda is pretty much at the center of how I see health, healing, and like... life in general. I hold a BAMS degree, but more than just the degree, what’s shaped me is actually working with patients, learning how every single body and mind tells its own story. I don’t think healing works when you just chase symptoms or hand over some generic plan. That’s why I focus a lot on figuring out the actual cause. My main areas? Digestive problems, stress-related conditions, lifestyle issues—like the kinds that creep up slow and mess with your routine before you even notice. I use things like Nadi Pariksha and detailed Vikriti/Dosha analysis to really understand what’s off and why. Then I build a plan, from scratch, for that person. Not just herbs or Rasayana or some shirodhara session. It's like a whole reset that includes Pathya-Apathya (diet stuff), mental clarity work, and if needed, Panchakarma detox. I try to keep my consults really personal. Quiet, respectful space, no rush. And I pay attention to things that don’t always get talked about, like emotional triggers or how someone’s lifestyle is actually shaping their imbalance. I honestly believe Ayurveda isn’t just “treatment,” it’s a full-on system of living aligned with nature—and that’s what I try to bring into every interaction. One thing I really like is mixing classical shastra principles with current knowledge, not in a forced way but where it actually helps—like using seasonal charts, gut-related research or basic lab data to back decisions. Preventive care matters a lot to me too. Sometimes the best treatment is teaching someone how not to get sick again. If you’re looking for something real, not rushed, and focused entirely on your body-mind story (not just numbers or names of disease)—I’d be glad to be a part of that process with you. I don’t promise miracles, but I do take healing seriously.
