Doctors' responses
Namaste, Sacroiliitis can take some time to heal because it involves inflammation of the joints and surrounding tissues. It is common for pain to improve gradually rather than disappear quickly, especially within the first few months of treatment. Since you already notice some relief on certain days, it suggests that the treatment may be helping and the healing process is ongoing. Simple measures that may help: Avoid long periods of sitting or standing, and try gentle movement during the day. Do light stretching or physiotherapy exercises recommended for the lower back and hip region. Avoid heavy lifting, sudden twisting movements, and strenuous activity. Continue warm oil massage or local heat application, which can help reduce stiffness and improve circulation. Healing of joint inflammation may sometimes take a few months depending on severity, lifestyle, and regular therapy, so patience and consistent care are important. Ayurvedic medicines sometimes used to support joint recovery include: Dashamoola Rasnadi Kashayam – traditionally used to support reduction of joint inflammation and pain. Ksheerabala Capsules – sometimes used to support nerve and joint nourishment. Consult me for more advice and suggestions on the above medicines.
