I have Lumbar issues and disc bulge in L4 & L4 area. and have Hip and nerve paid , so can I mix Karpasasthyadi thailam with Mahanarayana thailam for Sciatic pain and nerve issues ?

Apply over lower back, buttock, hip, and along the course of the sciatic nerve. Gentle massage for 10–15 minutes followed by mild fomentation (hot towel/steam) if comfortable. -----Why this combination? -Karpasasthyadi Taila – helps pacify aggravated Vata affecting nerves, muscles, and lower back. -Mahanarayana Taila – supports pain relief, stiffness reduction, and musculoskeletal strength. -----Internal Ayurvedic Support 1) Yogaraj Guggulu 1–2 tabs twice daily after food. 2) Maharasnadi kwath 20 ml with equal water twice daily. —Lifestyle Avoid prolonged sitting. Avoid forward bending, heavy lifting, and jerky movements. Gentle stretching and physiotherapy exercises prescribed for disc bulge should be continued. Sleep on a firm mattress.

Can they be mixed together? In many cases, these oils can be used together externally, as their actions are complementary: Karpasasthyadi Taila is traditionally valued for Vata disorders affecting the nerves, lower back, and lower limbs. It is often preferred when there is radiating pain, numbness, tingling, or sciatica. Mahanarayana Taila is widely used for joint, muscle, ligament, and nerve pain, helping reduce stiffness and improve mobility. A common approach is: Mix equal quantities (1:1 ratio) and apply externally over the lower back, buttock, hip, and along the course of the sciatic nerve. Warm the oil slightly before application. Massage gently for 10–15 minutes. Follow with mild heat (hot water bag or warm towel) for another 10–15 minutes if comfortable. How long should it be used? Since your symptoms have been present for more than 6 months, Ayurvedic oil therapy generally needs consistent use: Daily or at least 5 days per week. Continue for 6–8 weeks initially. Many chronic cases require 2–3 months of regular application for noticeable improvement.
