Sciatica pain is usually due to nerve irritation in the lower back. Avoid bending, heavy lifting, and long sitting. Use hot fomentation on lower back and leg daily. Gentle walking and mild stretching help, but avoid sudden movements. Medicines: Yograj Guggulu – 1 tablet twice daily after food Maharasnadi kwath – 15 ml with equal warm water twice daily Dashmool tablet – 1 tablet twice daily Support: Sleep on firm bed Sesame oil massage on lower back daily If numbness or weakness increases, spine evaluation is advised.
