I am really confused about how to wear 7 mukhi rudraksha. I’ve been having some rough times lately, you know? Like, stress from work and constant fatigue. A friend told me that the 7 mukhi rudraksha can help with grounding and peace, which sounds perfect for my situation. I got one online, but now I'm not sure if I'm wearing it right. Should I wear it as a necklace or bracelet? I heard it needs to touch the skin for it to work! And do I need to do a special puja or mantra before wearing it? I’ve seen mixed advice online about how to wear 7 mukhi rudraksha, with some people saying it should be in gold while others say silver is fine. What’s the best way to really get the full benefit? Also, how often should I cleanse it? I feel like I'm overthinking this, but I really want things to improve. Any practical tips anyone?

Before you start wearing it, it’s traditional to purify the rudraksha. You might have heard mixed advice, but a simple purification process can be done by soaking the bead in gangajal (holy water) or even clean water with some basil leaves added for around 30 minutes. After that, you might want to recite any simple mantra you personally resonate with, or go with “Om Namah Shivaya” - a universal mantra that aligns with the energies of rudraksha.

Regarding the material, both gold and silver are okay, although silver is more commonly used due to its cooling properties in Ayurveda.
