Doctors’ responses
Hello muskan ,
I understand your confusion, and I’ll explain this in a simple, practical way so you can follow safely. It’s okay to start the Ayurvedic medicines that you have already received. You do not need to wait for Sukumaram Kashayam or Shatavari Churna to arrive to begin the rest. Ayurvedic medicines can be started individually; each works in its own way, so starting what you have is fine. Timing between medicines: Keep a gap of at least 30–45 minutes between two different Ayurvedic medicines. This helps your body absorb them properly without interference. During periods: Most Ayurvedic medicines can be taken during your period, including Shatavari and other supportive formulas. If you experience increased flow or discomfort, you can pause for a day or continue in smaller doses—usually, continuing is safe. How to take Shatavari powder: Shatavari powder can be taken with water or milk. If you prefer milk, warm milk is best, as it increases absorption and provides nourishment. If you take it with water, you can also add a small pinch of cardamom or honey (if not contraindicated) to make it palatable. You do not need to take dairy milk only; plant-based warm milk (almond, soy) is also fine. So, in short: start what you have, keep gaps between medicines, Shatavari can go with water or milk, and it’s safe during periods.

Thank you.
Abhi aapko jo ayurvedic dawai mil chuki hain, wo lena shuru kar sakti hain.
Agar aap doodh dhang ki sunti ho toh doodh ke sath lena labhdayak hota hai. Agar lactose intolerance ya dairy allergy hai, toh paani ke sath lena behtar hai. Santulit aur poshak aahar lena bhi bahut zaroori hain is dauraan.
Din bhar me pani ka intake badhaye aur dhire-dhire puri din bhar me leve.
Remember, Ayurveda pe tabhi ache se kaam karta hai jab lifestyle, aahar aur manobal ko acche se manage kiya jaaye. If koi complications ho rahi ho, medical advice lena instantly should be priority.
For starting the Ayurvedic medicines you have already received, you can begin taking them while waiting for Sukumaram Kashayam and Shatavari Churna. It’s typically safe to start treatments separately, but ensure you follow recommended dosages. For time gaps between different medicines, a general rule is to allow at least 30 minutes to 1 hour between doses. This interval helps prevent potential interactions and aids absorption. However, this can vary depending on your specific condition and the dosage.
Regarding taking these medicines during your periods, both Sukumaram Kashayam and Shatavari Churna are usually safe to take during menstruation. These formulations can support menstrual health and help to manage symptoms related to PCOS. However, always monitor how your body responds and consult with an Ayurvedic practitioner if any discomfort arises.
With Shatavari powder, it can be consumed either with water or milk. Since it supports the reproductive system and helps to balance hormones, choosing water is suitable if you’re limiting dairy intake. Milk, however, will enhance its nourishin effect, so opt for what aligns with your dietary restrictions and preferences.
Incorporate these medicines alongside a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. Stay hydrated and maintain regular exercise to support your overall well-being. If any adverse effects or new symptoms occur, prioritize consulting a healthcare professional.
