Para-surgical procedures Kshara karma (chemical cauterization) Agnikarma (thermal cauterization) Jalaukavacharana (leech therapy) Siravyadha (venesection) 4. Selected major surgeries (as trained during MS Shalya & permitted by institution/state rules) Hydrocele Hernia (uncomplicated cases) Varicose veins (selected cases) Important NCISM points Practice must be within Shalya Tantra syllabus & training Surgeries allowed independently in Ayurvedic hospitals In mixed/allopathic hospitals → depends on state government & hospital bylaws Use of modern anesthesia, investigations & instruments is permitted
