Doctors' responses

Namaste, Head swelling can occur due to different reasons such as injury, infection, sinus problems, or fluid retention. It is important to first understand the exact cause before taking medicines. Simple measures that may help: Observe if the swelling is associated with pain, fever, injury, or sinus congestion. Avoid very salty, oily, and heavy foods as they may increase fluid retention. Drink adequate warm water and take proper rest. If there is persistent swelling, severe pain, dizziness, or fever, medical evaluation is important. Ayurvedic medicines sometimes used depending on the cause: Punarnavarishta – traditionally used to support reduction of swelling and fluid retention. Lohasava – mainly used to support iron levels and general weakness. Consult me for more advice and suggestions on the above medicines.
