Thanks for response. Gokshuradi guggul 1-0-0 after food with water prescribed. Means after B’fast? Or can be taken after lunch instead of b’fast. Taking allopathic medicines with b’fast. Time gap to be given after b’fast to take Gokshuradi guggul. One tab of Dosage in milligram? How many tabs to purchase to continue till substantial improvement? Any food restriction: I take simple vegetarian diets. Allopathic doctor advised low-pottassium renal diet to prevent onset of Hyperkalemia. Following it. Your kind advice please.

Yes one tablet of gokshuradi guggul after lunch also is ok. No worries, if want to take after breakfast, then keep a gap of 30-45 minutes between 2 different systems of medicine. Continue all allopathic medicine and diet as before.

Burning urination is commonly caused due an blockage in the urinary system like kidney stone or due to UTI or local inflammation. As a surgeon, i would like to advise you for a recent RFT, Serum electrolyte, Urine Routine/Microscopy and Urine culture test. till then you can take- Chandraparbha vati 250 mg twice a day with warm water Gokshuradi guggulu 2 tablet twice a day with warm water (chew ) both after meals Trinapanchmool kwath 40 ml twice a day before meal. As these medicines acts as a diuretic, they will also help to treat hyperkalemia. make sure you have enough water intake at least 2-3 liters per day.

Thanks for explaining your condition completely. There can be many cause of the increased urine frequency - age related weaking of bladder muscles - mild UTI We should rule out prostate and UTI first with recent USG KUB and RFT. As you mentioned you are taking neurobian forte, bright yellowness in urine is commonly seen with its use. Since you have comorbidies, i suggest not to take any gugulu preperation or ras ausadhi for now. Instead, you can take dhanyak fanta (soak handful dhaliya leaves in water overnight then rinse it well and take it throughout the day) Also dont take large amount of water at once but do take sips of water throughout the day. This will also balance your pitta. - make sure to get a repeated RFT and Urine RM if the symptoms continue. Only take trinapanchmool kwath for medication. If you need more assistance, feel free to contact further. Dr. Hema Sinha MS (Shalya), BAMS
