Hi! I’m an assistant to the Ask Ayurveda doctors. I’ve carefully reviewed your question.
I will explain your symptoms through the Ayurvedic perspective so you understand what is happening in your body as a whole.
Your symptoms suggest an imbalance primarily involving Vata and Pitta doshas. The impaired digestion, known as low Agni, is a central concern here. This can lead to the accumulation of Ama, or toxins, which you suspect is present.
1. Acidity and Loose Motion: These symptoms indicate a disturbed Pitta, particularly Pachak Pitta, which governs digestion. Excessive acidity followed by loose motions suggests fluctuating digestive fire.
2. Bloating and Heaviness: This is often a result of Vata disturbance, leading to irregular digestion and the formation of gas. It also indicates weak digestive fire, causing incomplete digestion.
3. Variable Appetite: Feeling hungry at times and not at others is a sign of irregular Agni, often influenced by Vata, which can lead to inconsistent digestive strength.
4. Feeling Cold: This suggests a Vata imbalance, which can lead to reduced circulation and warmth in the body, further affecting digestion.
Ayurveda views these symptoms as interconnected, stemming from systemic imbalances. Poor digestion and the presence of Ama can affect overall health, including energy levels and metabolism.

I understand… these kinds of digestion issues—bloating, variable appetite, acidity, loose motions—can feel very confusing and exhausting, especially when even medicines give mixed results. You’ve explained your symptoms very clearly Yes, your observation is largely correct, but let me refine it: Avipattikar → reduces acidity but can loosen stools Kamdudha + Sutshekhar → cool down pitta All three together: Control acidity ✔️ But may further weaken digestive fire if used long-term ❗ This explains: “well-formed but sticky stool + heaviness” You can consider: Arogyavardhini vati – 1 tab twice daily after food Hingvastak churna – ½ tsp with first bite of food 👉 Continue: Sutshekhar (only if acidity is active) 👉 Reduce: Avipattikar → only when needed (not daily) If you want proper correction (not temporary relief), you can book a consultation—I’ll design a structured plan for you
