Namaste Mansi, Aapke symptoms se lagta hai ki digestion weak hai aur pitta aur ama dono involve hain. Loose motion, bloating, burning anus, aur sticky stool ka matlab hai ki gut me acidity aur undigested food (ama) dono present hain. Is situation me stepwise approach zyada effective hai—ek hi time par heavy medicines lene se imbalance ho sakta hai, jaise aapne notice kiya (acidity medicine lene ke baad stool sticky ho gaya, aur aam digesting medicine lene se acidity badh gaya). Priority: digestive fire aur ama ko balance karna first, phir acidity control. Subah empty stomach warm water lein, aur digestion easy khana (moong dal, rice, cooked vegetables). Avoid very spicy, oily, fried, packaged foods. Small frequent meals better hain. After meals, sip 1/2 teaspoon jeera-saunf-coriander water, ya 1/4 teaspoon hing in warm water. Ayurvedic medicines with dose and timing (stepwise): Ama reducing / digestion improving first: Panchkol Churna – 1/2 teaspoon after meals, twice daily, helps digest undigested food and reduce bloating Jeerakadyarishta – 2 teaspoon with equal water after meals Then acidity control once digestion improves: Avipattikar Churna – 1 teaspoon at night with warm water (if burning anus persists or acidity flares) Home support: Warm water sipping through day, avoid cold drinks Light walk after meals, don’t lie immediately after eating Sitz bath (warm water for 5–10 min) if anal burning is significant You should see bloating improve within a few days of ama-reducing medicines, and acidity will reduce in 1–2 weeks once digestion stabilizes. So, in short: first fix digestion / ama, then acidity. This stepwise approach prevents sticky stools or flare-ups.

Hi! I’m an assistant to the Ask Ayurveda doctors. I’ve carefully reviewed your question.
I will explain your symptoms through the Ayurvedic perspective so you understand what is happening in your body as a whole.
Your symptoms of acidity, bloating, and loose motions suggest an imbalance primarily involving Pitta and Vata doshas. The burning sensation and acidity are indicative of excess Pitta, which is characterized by heat and inflammation. Bloating and irregular bowel movements point towards a Vata imbalance, often manifesting as irregularity and dryness.
The sticky stool you mentioned after taking Avipattikar suggests the presence of ‘ama’ or toxins in the digestive system. This is a sign that your digestive fire or ‘agni’ might be weak or irregular, leading to incomplete digestion. The challenge here is to balance reducing ‘ama’ without aggravating acidity.
Ayurveda views these symptoms as interconnected, stemming from a systemic imbalance rather than isolated issues. Addressing the root cause involves harmonizing your digestive fire and balancing the doshas through diet and lifestyle adjustments.
