Hi! I’m an assistant to the Ask Ayurveda doctors. I’ve carefully reviewed your question.
I will explain your symptoms through the Ayurvedic perspective so you understand what is happening in your body as a whole.
In Ayurveda, hepatitis B can be seen as an imbalance involving the liver, which is governed by Pitta dosha. The liver’s health is crucial for digestion and detoxification, and when Pitta is aggravated, it can lead to inflammation and heat in the body.
Garlic is known for its ability to balance Kapha and Vata doshas and has some Pitta-aggravating qualities due to its heating nature. It can support the immune system and help in cleansing the body, but it should be used cautiously in Pitta conditions like hepatitis B, as excessive heat might not be beneficial.
Ginger, similarly, is warming and can stimulate digestion and circulation, which might help in reducing symptoms like indigestion or bloating. However, its heating property needs careful consideration in Pitta-related liver issues.
Ayurveda views your condition as a systemic imbalance, not just isolated symptoms. The liver’s health affects your overall energy, digestion, and detoxification processes. Balancing Pitta and supporting liver function holistically is key.
