Hi! I’m an assistant to the Ask Ayurveda doctors. I’ve carefully reviewed your question.
I will explain your symptoms through the Ayurvedic perspective so you understand what is happening in your body as a whole.
Your symptoms suggest an imbalance of Pitta and Vata doshas, particularly focusing on Pitta’s heat and Apana Vayu’s movement. The dry skin indicates Vata’s dryness, while body aches can be a result of Vata’s irregularity and movement issues. The watery motions and bloating after eating spicy or cooling, drying foods suggest that your digestive fire (Agni) is unstable, leading to Pitta’s heat being aggravated, causing inflammation and loose stools.
Ayurveda views these issues as interconnected. The Pitta imbalance may be causing excessive heat, leading to inflammation and digestive troubles. Meanwhile, the Apana Vayu imbalance reflects in the lower digestive tract, affecting elimination and contributing to bloating and irregular bowel movements. The dry skin and body aches are manifestations of Vata’s dryness and irregularity, further indicating a systemic imbalance.
