How to improve sleep quality after waking up at 2 AM for a diabetic patient with mild hypertension? - #53789
I have no problem in sleeping between 9.30pm and 10 PM. But I wake around 2.0pm. After this many thoughts keep on coming and could not sleep till 4pm. After 4pm it is not sound sleep. I wake up again around 6am. I am diabetic from last 10 years but my sugar is in control. Slightly mils hypertension from last 4 months. I am taking mukta vati morning and evening 2 2 tablets and it is ok. Suggest me solution for sleep after 2pm.

I understand how frustrating this can be—falling asleep easily, then waking around 2:00 a.m. with racing thoughts and light sleep afterward can leave you tired even if you go to bed on time. Since you also have diabetes (controlled) and mild hypertension, we should think about sleep in a safe and structured way. This pattern can happen from: Stress / overactive mind (thoughts start once awake) Blood sugar dips or swings overnight (even with controlled diabetes) Sleep apnea (snoring, gasping, frequent waking) Nocturia (urination waking you) Medication timing / stimulants Anxiety conditioning (body expects to wake at same time) If you’re looking for proper long-term relief, you can book a consultation and I’ll design a complete plan for you (medicines, routine, and diet)
