The symptoms you described suggest: Pressure on motor/balance pathways → unsteady walking Pressure or irritation affecting cognition → forgetfulness If untreated, these may slowly worsen (though speed varies). — at this point ayurveda can provide supportive treatment for this. –Internal Medicines 1. Tab Mentat - 1 twice daily after food 2.Brahmi pearl capsule -1 capwith warm milk at bedtime 3.Vaidyanath Giloy Satva -250 mg twice daily with water 4. Kanchnar gugulu 2 tab twice daily after meal 5. Tab trifla 1 at bed time — Panchakarma (Under Supervision Only) 1. Nasya (Most Important) Anu Tail / Shadbindu Tail - 2 drops each nostril morning 2. Shirodhara Ksheer Bala Tail / Brahmi Tail - 30 min daily × 7–10 days (course) 3. Abhyanga + Swedana Bala Ashwagandha oil massage - Daily or alternate day 4. Matra Basti (if weakness increases) Ksheer Bala Tail - 40–60 ml - Diet Advice Light, warm food (khichdi, dal, soups) Cow ghee (small amount daily) Avoid: fried, cold, processed food - Lifestyle Fall prevention (very important) Gentle assisted walking Calm environment (depression present) Adequate sleep ---- When to Refer Urgently Increased imbalance Confusion ↑ New headache / vomiting Seizures - Expected Outcome May help: memory, mood, strength

be direct with you a brain tumour pressing on a nerve is a serious structural problem If surgery has been advised, it’s usually because of pressure effects on brain function (walking, memory). Completely avoiding modern care can be risky. That said, Ayurveda can be used supportively to Improve strength (Bala) Support nerves (Majja dhatu) Help memory (Smriti) Reduce symptoms and improve quality of life Medhya (brain-supporting) medicines Brahmi Vati – 1 tablet twice daily after food Ashwagandha Churna – 3 grams with warm milk at night Saraswatarishta – 10 ml with equal water, twice daily after food Nerve & strength support Ksheerabala Taila External: Gentle head massage daily Internal (only under doctor): 5–10 drops with warm milk at night Panchakarma (if possible under supervision) Nasya (nasal drops with medicated oil) – 2 drops each nostril daily Shirodhara – helpful for memory, sleep, calmness Diet Warm, light, easily digestible food Include: cow ghee (1–2 tsp daily), almonds (soaked), milk Avoid: heavy, fried, cold, processed food

Panchakarma treatments will give more results than internal medicines. So took a treatment in nearest ayurvedic centre. Sirodhara with takra and some medicines will help in calming the mind by stress reduction, improve sleep quality. You can do shiroabhyanga with Ksheerabala tailam in home itself from now onwards. Before bath put some oil over the head and massage for 15 minutes leave it for another 15 minutes and wash off with triphala kashaya or amla water. 1. Manasamitram vatakam 1 at bedtime. 2. Aswagandha choornam 1/2 tsp with warm milk at night. 3. Brahmi pearls 1 at morning. Give her more time. Spend time with her by talking. Make her happy. Keep a routine for her. It will help in memory Take care, Dr. Shaniba

It is important to manage (tumor) that is causing neurological deficits like unsteady walking and cognitive changes. This is due to Vata disorder involving Srotorodha (blockage of channels) and Mamsa-Arbud (tissue growth). These herbs which I suggest you can support neurological health and improve quality of life, it should be used alongside conventional monitoring, especially given your mother’s age and existing conditions like hypertension or diabetes. 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇 1) Ksheerabala (101) Capsules- 1 Capsule Twice daily with warm water/milk after food 2) Brahmi Ghritam- 1 Teaspoon Empty stomach in the morning with warm water 3) Guggulutiktaka Kwatham 15 ml + 45 ml warm water Twice daily, 30 mins before food 4) Manasamitra Vatakam 1 Tablet At bedtime with warm milk 5) Dhanwantharam Thailam- External application Warm and apply gently to the head/body 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇 Avoid raw salads or cold meals. Prioritize vegetable soups, Moong Dal Khichdi, and soft-cooked grains. Include small amounts of Cow Ghee Heavily salted foods, fermented items (curd, pickles), and refined sugar.

In your mother’s case, since the tumor is already affecting walking and memory, it indicates pressure on nerves. Ayurveda can support quality of life and slow progression, but it cannot replace surgery when there is compression. If she is not willing for surgery, then focus on supportive care and monitoring. Important: Regular neurological follow-up is needed Watch for worsening walking, speech, vision, or sudden confusion Daily care: Keep routine calm and stress-free Light, easily digestible diet Ensure proper sleep At home: Gentle head massage with Brahmi oil Warm foot massage at night helps sleep and nerve relaxation Brahmi vati – 1 tablet twice daily Ashwagandha churna – ½ teaspoon with milk at bedtime Saraswatarishta – 10 ml with equal water after food twice daily These help in supporting memory, calming the mind, and improving strength. Do not expect reversal of tumor, but symptom support and slowing decline is possible with consistent care. If symptoms suddenly worsen (imbalance, severe headache, vomiting), seek immediate medical care. Regards, Dr Raghuveer (Ayurvedacharya)

hello thank you for contacting ask Ayurveda your mom is having tumor which is nearby nerve due to which she is having unsteady gait and having memory issues . i will advice you to consider neurosurgeon advice because in ayurveda there may be chances of imporvement. but if tumor increases then chances of further deterotation and she may have complete paralysis of any limbs , then it may be difficult to treat. now a days neurosurgery is very advanced and some have robotic surgery which is very high in success rate. i want to say that – quality of life and quantity of life is very important. she should not take stress as she is hypertensive and diabetes . meanwhile i will prescribe some medication which will be help full to her you can go to some ayurvedic centre for sirodhara – it will help in relaxing cranial nerves.
