½ teaspoon soaked methi (fenugreek) seeds daily is generally safe for a 65-year-old breast cancer survivor when taken in moderation. From an Ayurvedic perspective, methi is deepana-pachana (supports digestion), helps reduce Kapha and Vata, and may aid metabolism and bowel regularity. ----However, a few precautions: -If you are taking blood thinners (warfarin, apixaban, etc.), methi may increase bleeding tendency. -If you have diabetes or take blood sugar-lowering medicines, methi can further lower blood sugar. -If you experience excess heat, acidity, loose stools, or digestive discomfort, reduce the quantity or stop. —½ teaspoon soaked overnight and taken in the morning is a modest amount and is usually well tolerated. Focus primarily on a balanced diet rich in vegetables, fruits, adequate protein, and regular exercise, as these have much stronger evidence for long-term health after breast cancer. – if constipation then 1 tsf isabgol at night with Luke warm water
