I am a 46 yr old woman. Hypothyroid and diabetic. 3 C-section child births over the years. Had hysterectomy 5 years ago. Majority of weight around belly. What can I do lose that fat. I eat generally healthy diet. No sugary soft drinks, no smoking no alcohol.But have a sweet tooth which is hard to control.

Cold water dampens Agni, whereas warm water acts as a natural scraping agent (Lekhana) for stubborn fat. ••Ginger-Lemon Appetizer: Chew a small slice of fresh ginger with a pinch of rock salt (Saindhava Lavana) and a few drops of lemon juice 15 minutes before lunch and dinner. This jumpstarts digestive enzymes. 2. Focus on a light, warm, low-sugar diet, avoid sweets, refined foods, and overeating. Regular brisk walking, yoga, and strength exercises are important. Improve digestion (Agni) and maintain proper sleep and stress control. Since you have diabetes and hypothyroidism, continue regular medical follow-up and aim for gradual, sustainable weight loss rather than rapid reduction.” ----Rx: 1) Medohar Guggulu – 2 tabs twice daily after food with warm water × 3 months. 2) Triphala Churna – 3–5 g at bedtime with warm water daily. 3) Ushnodaka (warm water) – Sip throughout the day. 4) Lekhana Udvartana (dry powder massage) – 3–4 times/week if feasible. -----Pathya: Avoid sweets, bakery items, refined flour, fried foods, and cold drinks.
