A few months ago, I started feeling discomfort in my upper abdomen, especially after eating heavy meals. I also noticed that my legs and feet were swelling slightly by the end of the day. At first, I thought it was just poor circulation, but then I started experiencing fatigue, occasional nausea, and a feeling of fullness even when eating small amounts. I went to the doctor, and after doing some tests, they mentioned something about my portal vein. They said there might be increased pressure in the portal vein, which could lead to complications like varices or even liver-related issues. They suggested more tests to check for any blockages or abnormalities. I’m really worried because I had no idea the portal vein played such a big role in digestion and circulation. I don’t want to wait for this to turn into a serious problem, so I started looking into Ayurveda. Does Ayurveda have treatments to improve portal vein health and circulation?
