For the past few years, I have been dealing with excessive sweating, even in situations where it doesn’t seem normal. My hands and feet are constantly damp and cold, and I often find sweat stains on my clothes even when I’m just sitting still. The worst part is that my underarms, palms, and sometimes even my face start sweating excessively, especially when I feel anxious or nervous. It’s really embarrassing in social situations, and I’ve started avoiding handshakes and close contact with people because of it. I read that hyperhidrosis is a condition where the body produces excessive sweat due to overactive sweat glands or nervous system imbalances. I don’t know if mine is due to stress, hormonal issues, or an underlying medical condition, but I want to know if Ayurveda has natural ways to control excessive sweating and balance body temperature. I also noticed that certain foods make my sweating worse, especially spicy foods, caffeine, and even dairy products. Could my diet be triggering excessive sweating and making my symptoms worse? Does Ayurveda classify hyperhidrosis as a Pitta or Vata imbalance, and what are the best natural ways to regulate sweat production and keep the body cool? I have read that Sandalwood, Vetiver, and Amla are beneficial for cooling the body, balancing Pitta, and reducing excessive sweating—would these help in naturally managing hyperhidrosis?
