Since I prefer natural treatments, I want to understand if Ayurveda has any recommendations for medicine for itching all over body and what could be causing this issue. From what I read, itching can be caused by dry skin, allergies, stress, or even liver issues. However, in Ayurveda, is there a specific dosha imbalance that leads to excessive itching? I have noticed that my skin sometimes feels warm to the touch when I scratch it—could this mean a Pitta imbalance? If so, what are the best Ayurvedic treatments to reduce heat and irritation in the skin? I also read that toxins (Ama) in the body can cause skin problems. If that’s the case, does Ayurveda recommend detoxification for itching all over body?
