A few months ago, I started noticing that whenever I got bitten by mosquitoes, my skin reacted much worse than usual. Instead of small, itchy bumps, I would get large, red, swollen welts that lasted for days. Sometimes the swelling was so bad that it looked like an allergic reaction. After some research, I came across Skeeter syndrome, which seems to describe my symptoms exactly. Since I prefer natural remedies, I want to understand—what is Skeeter syndrome, and does Ayurveda offer ways to reduce mosquito bite reactions and prevent severe swelling?
