Implantation failure and low progesterone are often categorized under Vandhyatva (infertility) or Garbhasrava (tendency toward miscarriage) in Ayurveda. At age 36, the focus must be on enhancing Artava (ovarian function) and nourishing the Kshetra (the uterine environment/soil). Balancing Progesterone (Agni and Vata) Progesterone is linked to the “warmth” of the luteal phase. Co-Therapy: Using Chandraprabha Vati can help clear any Ama (toxins) or inflammatory markers in the pelvic region that might be preventing the embryo from sticking. 1 BD after food with normal water Milk & Ghee: Regular consumption of A2 cow’s milk and ghee processed with saffron or cardamom helps build the Shukra Dhatu (reproductive tissue). Stress Management: High cortisol (Stress) is a “progesterone thief.” Practice Pranayama (specifically Nadi Shodhana) to keep the nervous system calm, as Vata imbalance is a leading cause of implantation failure.
According to Ayurveda, recurrent spotting before periods and difficulty in conception may be related to imbalance of Vata and weakness of Garbhashaya (uterus) with low Artava Dhatu support.
