Need Remedies for Weight Loss, Constipation, and Body Detox - #35860

I am 22 years old, and my current weight is 65 kg. So, I need to be slim and reduce by stomach fat and excess body fats. I have problem of regular constipation daily where it accumulates excess fat in my body. I also needed to detoxify my body also. So, kindly suggest any natural way of remedies to solve my issues by giving me dietary plans, foods, and other medicines, that would be really helpful to follow in my routine daily and stay slimer forever. Hello Santhosha,

I can understand your concern regarding weight loss, constipation, and body detoxification.Ayurveda has a very holistic, natural, and effective approach to deal with all these issues simultaneously. So dont worry we are here to help you out😊

✅MORNING DETOX AND CLEANSING ROUTINE

After waking up (around 6:00 AM): Drink 1 glass of lukewarm water mixed with ½ tsp Triphala powder OR Juice of ½ lemon + 1 tsp honey + pinch of black pepper or cinnamon powder.

This helps flush out toxins, stimulate the intestines, and improve metabolism.

Optional: You can also take Aloe Vera juice (10 ml) mixed with 10 ml Triphala juice in warm water — excellent for colon cleansing and liver detox.

✅AYURVEDIC MEDICATION

✅For Constipation & Detoxification

Triphala Churna – 1 tsp at bedtime with warm water or ghee. Helps in regulating bowel movement, removing toxins, and improving skin and hair health.

✅For Weight Management & Metabolism Boost

1 Medohar Guggulu – 1-0-1 after food with warm water. Helps in reducing excess fat and balancing metabolism.

2 Hinguvasthaka Churna – ¼ tsp before meals with honey or warm water to kindle digestive fire.

3 Punarnavasava – 15 ml with equal warm water after food to aid fat metabolism and remove excess water retention.

4. Slimlim 1-0-1 after food

✅DIET MODIFICATION

✅ Include

Warm, light, freshly cooked meals. Steamed vegetables, soups, moong dal, lauki (bottle gourd), tinda, ridge gourd. Fruits like papaya, guava, pomegranate, pear, apple, figs. Whole grains – millets (jowar, bajra), brown rice, and old wheat. Digestive spices – cumin, ajwain, dry ginger, turmeric, black pepper. Herbal teas – ginger-tulsi, cinnamon, or cumin-coriander-fennel tea.

Warm water throughout the day (avoid cold or refrigerated water).

❌ Avoid the Following

Deep-fried, refined, and processed foods. White sugar, bakery items, and aerated drinks. Excessive dairy (especially curd and cheese). Heavy night meals or eating after 9:00 PM.

✅WEEKLY HOME DETOX PLAN (Simple and Safe)

Once a week, follow a light detox routine to reset your metabolism. Morning: Start with warm lemon-honey water. Meals: Eat moong dal khichdi or steamed vegetables only. Drink herbal teas and warm water throughout the day. Avoid coffee, tea, sugar, and fried foods for that day.

You can also undergo Ayurvedic Panchakarma therapies like Virechana (therapeutic purgation) or Basti (medicated enema) under supervision once or twice a year for deep detox and metabolic correction.

✅ Key Ayurvedic Principles to Remember

Never suppress natural urges (especially stool and urine). Avoid emotional eating — eat when hungry. Take meals with mindfulness, not in front of screens. Ensure adequate sleep (7–8 hours).

Hi Santhosha Start with exercising daily or going to Gym. This will help you burn extra fat in your body. Avoid fried junk food and package items as they contain high amount of fats and preservatives. Do walk daily for 30 minutes.

Start with- 1 Aloevera juice 1tsp in warm water empty stomach daily 2 Medohara Guggulu 1-0-1 twice daily 3 Castor Oil , 1tsp in warm milk twice in a week 4 Vaishvanar churna 1tsp-0-1tsp before food

Do kunjal kriya every Sunday or Once in a week.

I will advice you to start this medication after doing Fast for 1 day. Just eat one fruit and keep fast for 14-16 hours.

I want to add one thing more. Find yourself a nearby Panchakarma centre and go for Udvartana procedure in which medicated powder is massaged over the body in opposite direction of the hair follicles. It helps in reducing fat from the body. Use Yava + Triphala powder for Udvartana. Do this therapy for 7 days.

HELLO SANTHOSHA,

You are experiencing -weight gain especially around the stomach -constipation hard or incomplete stools daily -feeling of heaviness, bloating, or sluggishness -desire for body detox and to stay slim and light

According to Ayurveda, this combination indicates an imbalance mainly in kapha and vata doshas

In short Your digestion is low, leading to toxic buildup , which blocks the channels of fat metabolism At the same time, dryness, and lack of fiber/fluid cause constipation

TREATMENT GOALS -rekindle digestive fire and remove ama (toxins) -correcr bowel movement, relieve constipation -reduce excess fat and kapha through scraping action -purify blood, liver, intestines, and improve energy -long term metabolic balance through diet, yoga,and daily routine

INTERNAL MEDICATIONS

1) TRIPHALA CHURNA= 1 tsp at bedtime with warm water for 3 months =relieve constipation, detox colon

2) TRIKATU CHURNA= 1/4 tsp before meals with honey for 2 months =improves digestion and metabolism

3) TRIPHALA GUGGULU= 2 tabs twice daily after meals for 3 months =reduces fat and cleans blood channels

4) MEDOHAR GUGGULU= 1 tab twice daily after meals for 2 months =fat burning and anti obesity

5) PUNARNAVA MANDUR= 1 tab twice daily after meals for 2 months =liver and kidney detox

HOME REMEDIES AND SIMPLE FORMULATION

1) MORNING DETOX DRINK -warm water + 1/2 lemon juice + 1 tsp honey if not diabetic -A pinch of black pepper or dry ginger

2) NIGHT CONSTIPATION REMEDY -1 tsp triphala churna in warm water OR -1 tbsp isabgol husk in warm water before sleep

3) FAT-BURNING TEA BOIL -1 tsp cumin + 1 tsp coriander + 1 tsp fennel seeds in 3 cups water-> reduce to 1.5 cup-> sip throughout the day

4) WEEKLY DETOX -once every 10-15 days , eat only light khichdi and warm water for whole day

YOGA ASANAS -Suryanamaskar= 12 rounds daily -pawanmuktasana= removes gas and aids bowel movement -naukasana= strengthens abdomen -bhujangasana and dhanurasana= improves digestion and tones belly -ardha matsyendrasana= liver and intestinal stimulation

PRANAYAM -Kapalbhati= 3 rounds * 60 strokes - burns fat, improves metabolism -anulom vilom= 10 mins- balances vata and kapha -bhastrika= 3 rounds * 20 breaths - energizes and detoxifies lungs

MEDITATION Daily 10-15 min to reduce stress hormones, which are linked to belly fat

DIET This diet is kapha reducing, which means it helps reduce excess body fat, improves metabolism, and minimise water retention and heaviness- especially around belly.

1) GRAINS(choose light, low glycemic) -old rice, barley, millets- bajra, ragi, jowar, quinoa, whole wheat

AVOID= white rice, maida, processed breads or bakery items, heavy or sticky grains like oats

2) PULSES AND LEGUMES -moong dal= easy to digest , light -massor dal -hoarse gram= very good for reducing fat(kulthi) -chickpeas- chana roasted or boiled

AVOID= rajma, chole, urad dal- they are heavy and produce gas if digestion is weak, overcooked or creamy dals

3) VEGETABLES -leafy grreen= spinach, methi, coriander, curry leaves -lauki, tinda, karela, pumpkin -cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, carrot, beans -drumsticks, snake gourd - radish-especially good for belly fat

AVOID= potato, sweet potato , arbi, -tomatoes in excess -excess onion garlic at night

COOKING- steam or light saute vegetables with mustard seeds, cumin, ginger, and turmeric in minimal oil

4) FRUITS -apples, pear -papaya= excellent for digestion -pomegranate -guava, watermelon= take in morning only -seasonal berries -amla- raw or juice

AVOID= banana, mangoes, grapes, chikos, any fruits after sunset, fruit juices= high sugar

5) DAIRY PRODUCTS -buttermilk=diluted curd, churned, spiced with roasted cumin,ajwain - low fat curd- only in daytime - cow’s milk-if needed boiled with turmeric or ginger

AVOID= cold milk, panner, cheese, khoya, full cream milk, curd at night

6) FATS AND OILS -cows ghee- small quantity, helps in fat metabolism -cold pressed mustard oiler sesame oil

AVOID -refined oils, deep fired food

7) SPICES AND HERBS these helps stimulate digestion, improves metabolism and reduce bloating -ginger, cumin, ajwain, black pepper, turmeric, cinnamon, fenugreek, asafoetida

use these in cooking or as herbal teas- cumin-fennel-coriander decoction after meals

8) BEVERAGES -warm water throughout the day - herbal teas -jeera water

AVOID= cold water, aerated drinks, packaged fruit juices, sweet lassi or milkshakes

9) SNACKS-light dry and non sugary - roasted makahna, roasted chana, dry fruits in moderation -chia seed water -sprouts= moong, chana with lemon, no salt

AVOID -buiscuits, chips, namkeen, bakery items, sugar bars or energy drinks

HOW TO EAT -eat only when hungry- no emotional or boredom eating - eat in calm, mindful environment - avoid overeating, even healthy foods - use warm, cooked meals, over raw/cold food -obseve mitahara- balanced, moderate, quantity of food - intermittent fasting- 14-16 hours overnight is safe and recommended

-weight and constipation are not disease- they are signs that your digestion improves , your body naturally starts to deto, lose excess fat, and stay energetic -Ayurevda focuses not on “quick fat loss” but on long term metabolic correction -Be consistent with your diet, herbal medicines, yoga and early rising -within 6-8 weeks, you’ll feel lighter your digestion will be regular ad your skin will glow naturally
