To tackle your concerns, let’s focus on a few key Ayurvedic strategies. Starting with your digestion, ensuring regular bowel movements is crucial. Begin your day with a glass of warm water with half a freshly squeezed lemon. This helps stimulate digestion and can eases constipation. For breakfast, consider having a small bowl of warm oatmeal with a pinch of ginger and cinnamon, as these spices ignite the digestive fire, or agni.
In terms of improving the elimination of toxins and managing your weight, including triphala churna before bedtime can be beneficial. You can take it with warm water to balance your digestion and support detoxification.
For your meals, focus on a diet that’s light but nourishing. Emphasize eating more vegetables, especially leafy greens like spinach or kale, which are fibrous and contribute both to detox and your need to slim down. Ghee in moderation is excellent for digestion – try having a teaspoon mixed in warm rice. Avoid processed foods or anything too oily or sugary.
Incorporating some physical activity is also important to enhance metabolism. Even a 30-minute brisk walk or yoga daily can have a substantial impact. Poses like the kapalabhati pranayama help in reducing belly fat and enhancing digestion.
Lastly, on hydrating yourself, sip warm water throughout the day but avoid it right after meals. Such practices effectively assist in detoxifying your system while managing your weight naturally and safely. Always ensure that any herbal remedies or significant dietary changes are first discussed with a healthcare professional to ensure they’re suitable for you.

Thank you for your kind and valuable answer Mam 😊🙏
For reducing stomach and overall body fat, addressing constipation, and detoxifying, let’s look at these individually with the Siddha-Ayurvedic perspective. First, your weight concern seems related to a Kapha dosha imbalance, which tends to cause weight gain and sluggish metabolism. A few practical steps include drinking warm water throughout the day, especially in the morning, to boost your agni (digestive fire). Add a pinch of ginger and a few drops of lemon juice if it suits you. This can help activate metabolism and clear out ama (toxins).
For your constipation, the key is restoring Vata balance. Consider taking Triphala powder every night. Mix about half a teaspoon with a glass of warm water before bed; it’s excellent for gently cleansing the colon. Increase your intake of fiber-rich foods like fruits, vegetables, and whole grains to improve bowel movement. Remember to include ghee in your food as it helps in lubricating the intestines, which is often necessary for Vata-type constipation.
Detoxifying the body is a bit more complex. Turmeric milk or Golden Milk at night may help to cleanse and heal the system. Mix a quarter teaspoon of turmeric in a glass of warm milk; its anti-inflammatory properties work wonders over time. Also, routine fasting once a week on light, simple food like fruit or vegetable juices allows your body to reset and detox naturally.
Try to include more spices in meals like cumin, coriander, and fennel as they help balance Kapha and aid digestion. Engage in physical activity like brisk walking or yoga for at least 30 minutes a day. Practices like Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutations) can be quite effective in weight loss and balancing doshas.
Avoid heavy, oily, and excessively sweet foods, as they increase Kapha. Each body is unique, so closely monitor how these recommendations work for you, and adjust as needed. If you notice anything unusual or symptoms persist, consult a healthcare provider.
