Sialolithiasis is the formation of stones (sialoliths) in the salivary glands, most commonly in the submandibular gland. These stones can block saliva flow, causing pain and swelling, especially when eating.
-Stay hydrated, suck on sour candies, massage the gland, use warm compresses.
-Internal:
1)Triphala Churna 3 g + warm water, bedtime
2)Haritaki 2 g + warm water, bedtime
3)Guduchi decoction 30 ml twice daily
External:
Warm sesame/mustard oil massage under jaw 1–2×/day
Warm compress over gland
-Diet & Lifestyle:
Chew sour fruits (lemon, ginger) to stimulate saliva
Drink warm water, avoid dry/sticky foods
Note: If pain, swelling, or infection persists → consult ENT/Surgeon

Massage gently under jaw area
Gargle with warm salt water
Chew small piece of ginger or amla (helps saliva flow)
Chandraprabha Vati 1tab bd
Kanchanar Guggulu 1tab bd
Triphala at night (improves drainage & detox)
Small stones sometimes dissolve or pass naturally.
Large stones may need minor procedure.
