Doctors' responses

Namaste Shahzaib,

Your symptoms suggest an imbalance in Vata and Pitta doshas, which can cause tension headaches, nerve sensitivity, and digestive disturbances. Here’s how you can naturally restore balance and find relief:

1. Immediate Relief for Head Pain

Brahmi Oil Massage – Warm Brahmi or Bhringraj oil and massage your scalp, especially on the painful area, before sleep. This calms the nervous system and relieves tension. Peppermint or Eucalyptus Oil – Apply a few drops to the temples and inhale deeply.

2. Stress, Anxiety & Sleep Improvement

Ashwagandha (1 tsp with warm milk before bed) – Reduces stress and improves sleep. 🔹 Brahmi Capsules – Support brain function and relieve anxiety. 🔹 Drink Warm Nutmeg Milk at Night – Boil a pinch of nutmeg in milk to induce restful sleep. 🔹 Avoid Screen Time Before Bed – Reduce mobile use 1 hour before sleep to prevent overstimulation.

3. Gastric & Digestion Support

🔹 Fennel & Ajwain Tea – Boil 1 tsp fennel + 1/2 tsp ajwain in water and drink after meals to improve digestion. 🔹 Triphala Powder (1/2 tsp at night with warm water) – Supports digestion and detoxifies. 🔹 Avoid Spicy, Oily, and Processed Foods – These aggravate acidity and stress.

4. Yoga & Breathing Exercises

Anulom Vilom & Bhramari Pranayama (10 mins daily) – Helps relax the mind and reduce anxiety. Shavasana (Corpse Pose) & Balasana (Child’s Pose) – Relieves stress-related headaches.

Since your symptoms seem to be linked to stress and excessive mobile use, making lifestyle changes and following this Ayurvedic approach should help significantly. And you can use sky blue colour left little finger below nail

Hi Shahzaib,

Do you have a history of migraine? Does the pain get triggered when you use your phone? How many hours do you sleep every day on an average? Are you taking any medications for your anxiety? Can you please elaborate about your gastric issues?

Your head pain may be due to stress, anxiety, poor sleep, or excessive mobile use leading to tension headaches. Gastric issues can also contribute, as acidity and gas sometimes trigger headaches. Try to reduce screen time, especially before bed, and practice gentle head massage with Brahmi or Bhringraj oil to relax the scalp.

For digestion, take 1 tsp Syp Zymnet twice after meals. with warm water and avoid spicy, oily foods. To improve sleep, drink warm milk with Ashwagandha at night and practice deep breathing exercises (Anulom Vilom pranayama) before sleeping.

Does your headache worsen at a particular time of the day? Do you feel dizziness or nausea along with it? If the pain persists or increases, get your blood pressure and vitamin D/B12 levels checked.

Pain in the middle of the head can really be a nuisance, especially when you’ve got stress, anxiety, and sleep problems as companions. Pressing on the scalp and feeling pain might be a sign of tention in the muscles or something called a “tension headache.” It’s pretty common when stress, and overuse of gadgets like mobiles are involved. Now, it doesn’t sound too dangerous, but managing these symptoms is important.

First off, ayurvedically speaking, your vata dosha might be on a high right now. It’s all about the air and space elements creating dryness and stress, leading to anxiety and those sleepless nights. Let’s try to calm that wind down a bit. One way to help with this is Shiro Abhyanga, a traditional head massage with warm sesame oil, this can really soothe and relax both your scalp and your mind. Aim for a 10-15 mins massage, especially in evenings.

And you know, gastrict issues and digestion problems aren’t helping either. Maintain a regular routine with meals. Avoid cold drinks and raw salads during nights; they might be boosting vata up. Sip on warm water with a dash of cumin, it can help ease digestion.

Let’s also talk sleep. Create a sleep-friendly environment, minimize screen time an hour before bed (I know, a hard one!). Instead read or listen to calming music. Try taking some warm, spiced milk before bed, maybe with a pinch of nutmeg; it’s calming.

For immediate sharp pain, maybe apply a cold compress or lavender oil on your temples. But, if the intensity increases or you feel dizziness or nausea, don’t wait, check with a healthcare provider immediately. We should’nt ignore anything that might need immediate attention.

Remember, balance is key. If it gets too much don’t hesitate to get it checked out, but these tips might just bring a little more ease to your days.
