Hello there, Your symptoms indicate chronic gastritis, gut dysbiosis, and a possible irritable bowel issue with a Vata-Pitta imbalance. Since this condition has persisted for 15 years, Ayurvedic treatment should focus on reducing gut inflammation, improving digestion, and healing the intestinal lining. For gas, bloating, and heartburn, take Avipattikar Churna (1 tsp with warm water before meals) to regulate acid production. Shankha Vati (1 tablet twice daily after meals) will help neutralize acidity, while Arogyavardhini Vati (1 tablet twice daily) will balance Pitta and detoxify the liver. For stomach lining repair and gut healing, use Yashtimadhu Churna (½ tsp in warm water before meals) to soothe the stomach lining. Bilva Churna (1 tsp with water) can help reduce diarrhea, and Triphala Churna (½ tsp at bedtime) will support colon cleansing. Since your kidney function is normal but shows mild inflammation, Gokshura Kadha (10 ml twice daily) and Punarnava Mandoor (1 tablet twice daily) can help improve urinary health and reduce burning urination. In terms of diet, avoid wheat (chapati, ugali), coffee, and citrus fruits, as they increase acidity and bloating. Stick to warm, well-cooked foods like rice, moong dal, ghee, and soft vegetables. Drinking cumin-coriander-fennel tea after meals can aid digestion, and practicing deep breathing (Pranayama) and Vajrasana (sitting on heels after meals) can further support gut health. Let me know if constipation or diarrhea is more dominant so that the treatment can be adjusted accordingly.

Seems like you're dealing with quite a mix of things! Abdominal pain, gas, and heartburn can really put a damper on everyday life. From what you describe, there's a combo of agni (digestive fire) issues and probably some dosha imbalance too. Given the bloating and gas especially when you consume chapati, you might be experiencing a Vata imbalance. Gas and bloating itself is a common symptom when Vata dosha is out of balance. Now, since you've got these gastrointestinal thing going on, the first step is to focus on rekindling agni. That's crucial. Before meals, try having a pinch of ginger, salt, and lemon. It’s a simple but effective way to ignite the digestion system. Keep your meals regular and eat them when your agni is strongest, usually around noon. Eat warm, cooked food and avoid anything left out to cool. About the heartburn and gastritis, that’s typically Pitta going haywire. Avoid heat-aggravating foods, so steer clear of overly spicy, sour, or fermented foods for a bit. Aloe vera juice might also bring some relief – take a tablespoon mixed with water before meals. Hydration is key. Warm water sipped throughout the day can soothe the stomach. When you can, add a little fennel or cumin to your meals, as they can ease digestion and help calm the intestines. Two things: Triphala churna, taken at night, can help move things along without the strain or hard stools, and ginger tea, which you’re already having, is a great choice to boost circulation and draw out the trapped air that's causing bloating. Stress can also mess with your digestion. So adding some kind of relaxation technique like pranayama or gentle yoga might be helpful. Consider Anulom Vilom or alternate nostril breathing to pacify Vata. Sometimes, checking how you're eating matters too. Avoid distracted eating; focus mindfully on each bite, savoring textures and tastes. Ayurveda’s holistic approach means leaving space for lifestyle and emotional influences too, so keep track of triggers, both physical and mental – it can reveal a lot. Yet, if you notice severe symptoms upfront or things worsen, please seek medical attention immediately.
