Considering your current situation, managing liver cirrhosis in Ayurveda focuses on balancing the doshas, supporting agni, and improving overall liver health while considering modern treatments you're currently on. Here are some suggestions that might help your condition. Firstly, it's crucial to focus on your diet. Opt for a Pitta-pacifying diet, as your symptoms suggest Pitta imbalance, which may be exacerbating irritability and headaches. Incorporate cooling, demulcent and alkaline foods like cucumber, coconut water, and green leafy vegetables. Avoid spicy, fried or very sour foods as they could irritate Pitta further. Small, frequent meals can aid digestion and prevent overloading your system. Since your weight is quite low for your height, high-calorie, nutritious food like ghee (in moderation) and rice kanji (rice porridge) can be nourishing. To support liver function, herbs like Punarnava (Boerhaavia diffusa) and Bhumyamalaki (Phyllanthus niruri) can be beneficial. These herbs are known for their hepato-protective and diuretic properties, which might help manage ascites. You can prepare a decoction (simple tea) with these herbs and consume it daily, consulting with a local Ayurvedic practitioner for proper dosage and sourcing. Since you have mild ascites, it's essential to avoid salt to reduce fluid accumulation. Instead, use herbs and spices like coriander and cumin that support digestion. Given the low blood pressure and the medicines you're taking, regular check-ins with your allopathic physician are essential. They will monitor for any adverse interactions and adjust doses accordingly. Your short temper and headache might improve with lifestyle changes such as daily practices of deep breathing exercises, gentle yoga, and meditation to calm the mind and body. Pranayama, especially alternate nostril breathing, has been known to help stabilize mood and reduce stress. Emotional health is just as important, so engaging in activities that bring joy or relaxation - like art or music - can provide balance. Monitor progress regularly, prioritize safety, and never hesitate to seek immediate medical help if conditions change or worsen.
