The BUN/CRE (blood urea nitrogen to creatinine) ratio at 18.7 is within the typical range, indicating that the balance between BUN and creatinine levels is quite normal. Your creatinine level of 0.9 mg/dl also falls within the standard range usually seen in healthy kidney function. However, the slight raise in urea to 36 could suggest dehydration, which can cause temporarily higher urea levels.

While your potassium at 4.2 and chloride at 96.1 also appear within the normal ranges, its important to focus on hydration, as this plays a crucial role in maintaining these levels. Ensuring adequate water intake can naturally help, not only with hydration but also with the regulation and possible reduction of urea levels.

When considering Ayurveda, we advise you to consume warming digestive aids like ginger and avoid cold, heavy foods that might hinder digestion. Incorporating Trikatu (a blend of ginger, black pepper, and pippali) can help boost digestion and redistribute agni (digestive fire). You might also want to engage in prana-enhancing practices like pranayama, or breathing exercises, to support kidney health indirectly.

In terms of diet, favor light, easy-to-digest foods; fresh fruits, vegetables, preferably those rich in water content like cucumbers and watermelon, as they can assist in hydration and detoxification. Reducing protein-heavy foods may also lessen stress on kidneys.

Lifestyle changes might include regular moderate exercise to maintain metabolism efficiency. However, this information should supplement, not replace, medical advice from a certified health professional or nephrologist, especially if your health situation evolves.

If any symptoms rise, such as consistent fatigue, swelling or changes in urination patterns, seeking professional medical assistance is essential.
