For your current condition, it's important to approach any potential treatments with caution and prioritize safety. Since you have undergone brain surgeries and are experiencing fits (seizures), continuing prescribed medication is crucial to prevent any risk of complications. However, there are certain Ayurvedic practices that might be incorporated into your lifestyle to potentially support your condition alongside medical treatment, but these should never replace your current medication without consulting your healthcare provider first. Let's focus on practices and lifestyle changes that aim at balancing vata dosha, which is often linked to neuroligcal issues in Ayurveda. Grounding activities like practicing yoga can help stabilize vata. Simple postures and breathing exercises, like anulom-vilom pranayama, may be beneficial. These practices encourage calmness and potentially help in stabilizing neural activities. Diet is another essential component. A vata-pacifying diet, consisting of warm, cooked, and nourishing foods, should be considered. Foods like cooked grains, root vegetables, and warming spices such as ginger and cumin can aid in balancing vata. Incorporating a teaspoon of chyawanprash daily after breakfast may also strengthen overall vitality, but discuss this with an Ayurveda practitioner or your doctor to ensure there are no conflicts with your current condition. Including practices such as abhyanga (oil massage) with sesame oil can help soothe the nervous system. Applying gentle warm oil on the head might provide relaxation, but consult an expert to ensure it's safe given your surgical history. These lifestyle adaptations are meant to complement your allopathic treatment, but remember, any significant change should be discussed with your healthcare professionals to avoid unintended interactions. Emphasis should be on harmony between natural remedies and the medical regimen you are currently undergoing.
