Understanding your symptoms – urticaria, cough, sore throat, and constipation – requires a holistic approach in Ayurveda. It sounds like the imbalance of doshas, particularly Vata and Pitta, could be at play here. For urticaria, focus on soothing your Pitta dosha. Avoid spicy, pungent, and sour foods which can aggravate Pitta. Favor cooling foods like cucumbers, cilantro, coriander, coconut water, and ghee. Including aloe vera juice may be beneficial, consuming 2 tablespoons daily on an empty stomach. Neem paste (neem leaves ground with water) can be applied topically to soothe skin irritation. Addressing cough and sore throat involves balancing Vata dosha as well. Gargle with warm salt water (half a teaspoon of salt in a glass of warm water) twice a day to alleviate throat discomfort. Use licorice tea; boil a teaspoon of licorice root powder in water and sip slowly. Avoid cold and damp environments, and dress warmly. Constipation can often be managed by increasing intake of fiber-rich foods like oats, whole grains, and fresh fruits with skin. Triphala powder is a classic Ayurvedic remedy for constipation; take half a teaspoon with warm water at night. Ensure you drink plenty of warm water throughout the day to aid digestion and keep the bowels regular. While these remedies can help alleviate symptoms, it's vital to reflect on lifestyle factors that could be affecting your health. Regular routines, stress management, and moderation in diet and activities are crucial to supporting your immune and digestive health. If symptoms persist or worsen, consider consulting with a professional who can provide personalized guidance. Remember, the integration of modern medicine with traditional practices can sometimes be necessary, especially if conditions don't improve.
