Doctors’ responses

Based on the symptoms you've described, it’s crucial to address the stress and possible dosha imbalances first. As it began with stress and panic attacks, the involvement of Vata dosha is likely, causing erratic movement and changes in the body. It's great that you ruled out serious heart issues, but slight increases in homocysteine and lipid profiles highlight the need to manage stress effectively, as high stress may aggaravate these conditions. To begin, incorporating Ashwagandha can be beneficial for stress-induced symptoms. Take Ashwagandha powder, about 1 teaspoon mixed in warm milk, daily. This herb is known for its adaptogenic properties, which help stabilize your body's response to stress. Continue this for about 3 months, assessing how you feel and if improvement occur. For your dietary routine, focus on a Vata-pacifying diet with warm, unctuous meals. Include foods that are nourishing, such as rice, ghee, and cooked vegetables and avoid dry, raw, or cold foods that may exacerbate Vata. Turmeric may also help reduce inflammation—consider adding a pinch to your meals daily. Practicing daily Abhyanga (oil massage) with warm sesame oil can effectively calm Vata dosha which may provide relief from muscle tension and possibly minimize the nerve tingling or muscular pain in your arm. Dedicate around 15 minutes for this practice each morning before showering. Since the condition is longstanding from May 2024, consistent management is key. Sticking with the recommended practices for at minimum of 3 months should help you gauge major improvements. Additionally, Pranayama, particularly Anulom Vilom breathing exercise for about 10 minutes twice daily, can be useful for managing the panic and stress levels. Lastly, monitor your stress patterns and ensure to incorporate stress-relieving activities like yoga, meditation or even regular walks in nature into your daily routine as they can do wonders for your holistic well-being. Please consider following these holistic measures carefully and, if you find there's no relief or symptoms worsen, consult a healthcare professional.
