how to wear rudraksha in hand - #23743

Addison

I am struggling a bit with how to wear rudraksha in hand, and honestly, I've been feeling kinda lost. A couple of weeks ago, my friend suggested that I wear them because she said they help with focus and grounding. I thought, “why not?” Since then, I've gotten this lovely bead but I'm not sure of the proper way to wear rudraksha in hand. I read somewhere that you should wear it on the right hand for positive energy but my habitual hand is the left, and now I'm confused. Should I wear it along with other bangles or just on its own? Also, I’ve heard people say that they should be cleaned regularly but how often exactly? I don't wanna mess it up or lose its benefits. If someone has advice on how to wear rudraksha in hand, and any rituals that go along with it, that would be super helpful! Just trying to get it all right but feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the info I found online.

Wearing a rudraksha does indeed have spiritual significance and is widely acknowledged for its grounding properties. Generally, a rudraksha can be worn on either hand wrist, but it is traditionally worn on the right hand for energy balancing purposes. If your dominant hand is the left and you feel more connected, it's essential to choose what feels most natural to you. The aim is to enhance energy flow and comfort; hence, personal intuition plays a part. If you choose to wear rudraksha alongside other bangles, ensure it touches the skin directly for efective energy conduction. The connection with the skin allows for better transmission of its vibrational properties. Therefore, if you're okay with a little practicality, try wearing it separately or ensuring it touches skin despite being among other adornments. Regarding cleaning, rudraksha beads should indeed be cleaned regularly due to both spiritual and physical reasons. A gentle cleaning with water once in a couple of weeks is usually recommended; avoiding soap or harsh chemicals, as they might degrade the seeds' intricate ridges. Post-cleaning, allow them to dry naturally and, if possible, apply a light coat of oil like almond or sandalwood oil to maintain their lustrous appeal. There are no steadfast rituals required for maintaining rudraksha, although wearing mantras or meditative practices can be incorporated if it resonates with you spiritually. Maantras such as "Om Namah Shivaya" can be chanted, but it should be more focused on personal connection than rigid religious routine. Doing this might relax your mind and enhance your focus. Remember it's like a balance between age-old practices and your personal well-being. Let your experience and intuition guide how you incorporate rudraksha in your life, and adapt it according to your personal comfort and lifestyle.
