can bams doctor practice allopathy - #25290
I am really confused about this whole thing with Ayurvedic and allopathy. A while ago, I was struggling with some health issues, like fatigue and digestion problems, and I went to see a BAMS doctor. They really helped me sort out some things, but then I heard my friend saying that a BAMS doctor can practice allopathy too? I mean, can a BAMS doctor practice allopathy effectively? I don’t get it. Like, if they’re trained mainly in Ayurveda, how can they just switch to allopathic treatment? My doctor suggested some herbal remedies, but then I thought, what's gonna happen if I need something more conventional later? Can a BAMS doctor combine both treatments or is it just against the rules or something? I really wanna understand this better coz I feel stuck sometimes. Not sure if I should go back to my BAMS doctor or find a Western doctor for a second opinion. Can anyone shed some light on whether a BAMS doctor can practice allopathy? These overlapping things just make it all more complicated!! Thanks a ton for any info!
