For irregular periods, it might be related to a hormonal imbalance that could be connected to your lifestyle, diet, and prakriti (constitution). The first step is balancing your doshas—specifically Kapha and Vata, which often influence menstrual regularity. Consider incorporating warming spices like ginger, cinnamon, and turmeric into your diet; these can help regulate menstruation. Avoid heavy, oily foods, and opt for a light, freshly-cooked vegetarian diet emphasizing green leafy vegetables, whole grains, and fruits. Stay away from processed foods and sugars. Drink a cup of warm fennel seed tea after meals—simply steep a teaspoon of fennel seeds in hot water for about 10 minutes—to help digestion and support your hormonal balance. For the skin lumps and rashes, these can be aggravated by Kapha dosha. Applying a paste of turmeric and water to the affected areas can soothe inflammation, turmeric's an antiseptic and may reduce skin irritation. But continue with your steroids if prescribed by a doctor, as they are managing symptoms. Since you're also experiencing fungal infections, maintain good hygiene, and keep the areas dry; using talcum powder can help prevent moisture which fungi thrive on. A good home remedy is a mixture of neem oil and coconut oil applied to the skin—it has antifungal properties. Be cautious with these remedies and closely monitor any changes. Since you're overweight, it might be beneficial to incorporate some regular physical activity, like brisk walking or yoga, even starting with 20-30 minutes daily could help. This can improve your metabolism and help balance your hormones. Your condition is complex and it's important to consult with an Ayurvedic practitioner or healthcare provider for a comprehensive evaluation and tailored treatment plan. If infections worsen or persist, seeking immediate medical attention is necessary to prevent any severe complications.
