Dealing with Vata Imbalance: Seeking Relief from Dryness and Pain - #50230

I am a vata dominant, and I am facing problems with heavy dryness,muscle pain, nervous pain from more than 2 years, frequent cold and sneezing from almost more than 6 month is worst when stress is more, body aches daily especially morning sometimes i get current sensation near my shoulders and back neck, skin is sensitive where any products cause irritation, dryness, itchingness, burning sensation, even thoughI drink more water I won't get more urine like others, after doing gym or exercise I won't feel sweat at all. After all this I did matra basti of 5 sessions which was bit balanced pain dryness everything was bit normalize to manageable, but I had exams due to stress, less sleep no perfect routine it again increased body aches like hell am taking few tablets also which is fine but not curable what to do for soo much basti budget is not possible is there anything else I can do instead? Also I wanna know which is best steam bath or hot water bath in a bath tub which one would be better?

●Causes- Diet: • Excessive pungent (pungent), bitter (tikta), and astringent (kashaya) tastes Cold, dry, stale, or scanty food; abuse of fasting Vihara: Irregular eating and sleeping habits Excessive travel, exertion, and labor Cold/dry air and environment ●Rasa and Mitigation Theory The Ashtanga Hridayam states: • Sweet, sour, and salty rasas - calm Vata • Bitter, pungent, and astringent rasas - aggravate Vata Khichdi with ghee, hot soup, cooked porridge, sweet fruits, and cooked food with salt are suitable for the plate. ●Medicinal Preference (Basti) • Charaka Samhita, Chikki 28, states that Basti is predominant among the Vata doshas. Niruha, Anuvasana, Ksheera Basti - Vaidyas use these according to the stage of the disease. Perform this only under the supervision of a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner. ●Lifestyle Remedies (Dinacharya) Abhyanga (oil massage): Daily rubbing with sesame seeds - the best remedy for Vata • Sweating (hot bath/steam): Relieves cold and roughness • Regularity: Timely meals,sleep andrest • Mental peace: Pranayama, meditation, dhi-dhriti-atmavijnana (mental stability) all these measures balance the wind ●7-Day Vata-Soothing Routine (At Home) Morning: Lukewarm water, sesame oil massage, light yoga Afternoon: Moong Khichdi, ghee-cooked vegetables; buttermilk until noon • Routine: Maintain a consistent sleep schedule • • Evening: Warm ginger-fennel-cumin decoction Night: Porridge/soup, oil massage on the feet and head before bed This is only helpful for general imbalances. In case of illness, guidance from a specialist physician is necessary.
