You mentioned: Symptoms > 6 months BP around 160/100 or more Facial swelling Symptoms worse with physical activity This suggests progressive kidney involvement and needs careful + integrated management. Understanding in Ayurveda PKD can be correlated with: Mutravaha srotas dushti Kapha-meda accumulation Vata avarodha Gradually leading to Vrikkaroga High BP in kidney disease = 👉 Rakta dushti + Vyana vata aggravation Swelling (face edema) = 👉 Kapha + Jala dhatu vriddhi ⚠️ First Important Advice BP 160/100 is dangerous. 👉 Do NOT stop allopathic BP medicines. Ayurveda can be given supportively, not as replacement. If creatinine is rising or urine output is decreasing → immediate nephrologist consultation. 🌿 Ayurvedic Management Plan (Supportive) 1️⃣ To Reduce Swelling & Fluid Retention Punarnava mandoor Punarnavasava Gokshuradi guggulu (if creatinine not very high) Varunadi kwath 2️⃣ For BP Support Sarpagandha vati (only under supervision) Mukta vati (careful monitoring) Arjuna ksheerapak (mild cases) 3️⃣ For Kidney Protection Chandraprabha vati Gokshura churna Trinpanchmool kwath 4️⃣ If Creatinine High (>2.5–3) Use very cautiously: Avoid heavy rasa preparations Avoid excess guggulu Prefer mild decoctions 🥗 Diet Strictly Follow ✅ Allowed Lauki, tori, parwal Barley water (if potassium normal) Old rice Moong dal (small quantity) Coriander water ❌ Avoid High salt Pickles Tomato excess Spinach (high potassium) Rajma, chole Excess protein Processed food Salt restriction is VERY important. 🧘 Lifestyle Early sleep before 10:30 pm Avoid heavy physical exertion Gentle pranayama (Anulom Vilom) Avoid stress 🚨 When to Seek Emergency Care Severe headache Breathlessness Urine very less Sudden increase in swelling Honest Reality PKD is genetic and progressive. Ayurveda can: ✔ Slow progression ✔ Reduce swelling ✔ Support kidney function ❌ Cannot remove cysts permanently
Need personal/ offline consultation for better examination and treatment

Polycystic kidney with enlarged kidney, to now treat with ayurvedic treatment is difficult, as not much results are seen, nephrologist consultation and opinions are more required. Meanwhile you can take Gokshuradi guggul 2-0-0 after food with water, will help reduce swelling on face Punarnava mandur 1-0-1 after food with water Diet now plays important role Take only 800 to 1000ml. Of liquid which involves water also as suggested to you by your doctor. Restrict on salt intake. Restrict on protein diet Do pranayam lom -vilom bhastrika bhamri 5-10mins twice daily.
