Myself Ajit Kumar Maiti 76 yrs with L4-L5 herniated disc buldge pain since 1999 for last 26years was running with exercises. since 2024 December, the lower back pain agravated, took Gabaneuron 300 tablet for 16 Months followed by Pregabalin M 75 Capsules for last 60 days due to severe acute pain. current urine test report dtd 24.03.2026 shows urine albumin creatine ratio 35.9 ug/ mg ( Bio.<link removed>terval: Less than 30 )and USG report shows cholesterosis of Gallbladder with severe gastric issues & bloating. I am hypothyridism patient taking Thyronorm- 25 every morning, Urimax-D capsules daily for enlarged prostate with frequent urination, stopped Pregabalin capsules for last 3 days. will it be in order for me to take one Lumbagest capsules twice daily in lieu of Pregabalin M 75 discontinued with above urine albumin creatine ratio showing impaired kidney function? Avoid lumbagest We will prioritize high safety herbs for nerve pain and inflammation without putting undue strain on the kidneys. 1) Ksheerabala (101) Capsules-1 Capsule twice daily before food 2) Sahacharadi Kwath Tablet- 2 Tablets-Twice daily, before food 3) Dasamoolarishtam-15 ml liquid with 45 ml water Twice daily, after food 4) gandharv hastadi castor oil- 5 ml once daily at bedtime with warm water avoid heavy proteins like paneer, soy, and urad dal. Stick to light Moong Dal or Peya (thin rice water). sip warm water throughout the day Use Old rice (Sastika Shali), Barley (Yava)well-cooked Oats. Bottle gourd (Lauki), Pointed gourd (Parwal), Ridge gourd (Turai), and Pumpkin. . Use small amounts of Ginger, Cumin (Jeera), Fennel (Saunf), and Turmeric. Avoid Potato, Cauliflower, Cabbage, Broccoli, and Ladies’ finger (Bhindi). These will worsen his L4-L5 pain by increasing “Vata” (gas) in the gut. Avoid curd, especially at night. Fresh Buttermilk (Takra) with a pinch of Cumin is a better alternative during the day. Keep salt intake low to protect the kidneys. Avoid red chili and heavy garam masala which aggravate gastric issues. Avoid Idli, Dosa, or Bakery items (bread/biscuits) you shouldfinish his last meal by 7:00 PM. This prevents nighttime bloating and pressure on the spine. Avoid long-distance walking. Instead, 5-10 minutes of gentle walking inside the house after meals is enough to aid digestion. Use a firm chair with back support. Never sit on the floor or low stools, as this puts maximum pressure on the L4-L5 disc.

Start Mahayograj Guggulu 1 tablet twice daily after food for nerve and joint support. For local relief, apply Mahanarayan oil with gentle warm massage on the lower back followed by mild heat fomentation daily. This reduces stiffness and improves circulation without burdening the kidneys. Since you have constant bloating and gastric sensitivity, avoid strong or heavy medicines.
