How to treat lingering gut cramps and swollen lymph nodes after E. coli infection? - #53502
Several years ago I had an infection with e. coli strain 0157 that was apparently resolved with bioresonance. But I still feel cramps in the same area in the gut (stomach/colon/maybe even kidney on left side), lymph nodes are swollen and jaw is infected. I experience tiredness, too. What could resolve with this infection in auyrvedic medicine? Thanks.

Your symptoms suggest that even though the infection passed, there may be residual gut inflammation and immune imbalance, which is why cramps, lymph swelling, and fatigue are persisting. In such cases, focus is on healing the gut lining and calming inflammation, not treating it like an active infection. Keep diet very simple and easy to digest. Avoid raw, spicy, processed foods and excess caffeine. Prefer warm, cooked meals. Stress management is important, as your symptoms are stress-sensitive. At home, you can take warm water, and include a little turmeric in food. Freshly prepared meals and regular eating times will help. Kutajghan vati – 1 tablet twice daily after food Guduchi (Giloy) tablet – 1 tablet twice daily Avipattikar tablet – 1 tablet before food (if acidity present) These help in reducing gut irritation, improving immunity, and supporting digestion. If lymph nodes remain swollen or jaw infection persists, a proper medical/dental evaluation is also important. Regards, Dr Raghuveer (Ayurvedacharya)
